Years back, on a Disney cruise, at the port, we were able to buy wine after going through check-in screening. I think it was at the San Juan Port. Can anyone confirm?

Official answer from DCL website:

Disney Cruise Line Guests 21 years and older may bring a maximum of 2 bottles of unopened wine or champagne (no larger than 750 ml) or 6 beers (no larger than 12 ounces) on board at the beginning of the voyage and at each port of call. These beverages must be packed in carry-on (not checked) bags or luggage.

Thank you, yes, you are correct. Maybe I am not being clear, I am asking if there was a place to buy wine after going through check-in at the San Juan port.

I have never seen alcohol for sale in any port after check-in screening. Maybe I haven’t been looking, but fairly confident with my answer.

If you are originating your cruise in San Juan, you will be using the cruise port on the island across from Old San Juan, not the one at the foot of the city (where they do have alcohol, but it is still before check-in).
