san diego - aircraft carrier

On our upcoming trip, we'll be in San Diego and Anaheim. Our sons are wondering if there is an aircraft carrier tour available somewhere on the Southern California coast. Thanks!

Hi there,
Down near Seaport Village and the Cruise Terminal in San Diego is the new museum that was created with the carrier Midway.
I am not 100% sure of the cost, but I think it's around $13.00 to pay to go aboard and check it out. I have not personally gone but some of my friends have and tell me it is really cool and worthwhile visiting.

Here's the website for the Midway museum. We have been down to the harbor several times since it opened but haven't been on board yet. My BIL has been and said it's great.
