hello,

the couple we are traveling with wanted to try the san angel inn, in epcot this year.. does anyone know what time they serve from the lunch menu till? we are going to the animal kingdom in the am, and plan on heading over to epcot for illuminations later on. we are doing future world another day. the lunch menu looks like something we would prefer instead of the dinner menu.. also, it is our wedding anniversary that day, should i mention it when i call and make our ADR's? i had mentioned it last year, and nothing special was done..

thanks!

I think your best bet would be to try calling Disney Dining. San Angel is pretty cool for dinner, but I've never been there for lunch. Yes you should mention it again. They may or may not do something special, but it never hurts to mention these things.

I dont know the answer to your question. However, I will tell you that this place was like leaving WDW and landing in bizzaro world. The service was very slow and rude boarding on hostile. I dont reccommend it, especially not on a special occassion.

We always dine at the San Angel Inn on our visits to EPCOT. The lunch menu ends at 3:00 pm.

hmm, 3:00 huh? oh well i guess i'll just book for around 2:30 then.. hopefully we won't have bad service like the other poster told us about..

thank you for all the helpful info

Ate dinner at San Angel Inn last week our service was GREAT our server was older looked like maybe he'd been there awhile. I'd say server was at least mid 30's or early 40's.

SanAngel was not near as noisy for us as Italy was or the R&C either for that matter there we was seated in the corner by the pub and the pub was rather noisy.

Could you possibly eat your anniversary dinner another day other than on your anniversary? DH and I does this often same with Valentines Day and Mother's Day usually go a few days before or after for those to avoid the crowd of the special day.

our anniversary is on the 21st, and we have plans already for dinner outside the park.. we go to the same restaurant over on 192 every year. so i thought, seeing that we will be in epcot the following day, that i would mention that we are celebrating our 5th, and see if they do anything special this year. not a big deal if they do or not..

looks like i will be booking a lunch for around 2:30 ish... lunch menu looks much better to me than the dinner.

thanks for all the helpful info!!

IMO I would go almost anywhere else than San Angel, especially for an occasion . Nice atmoshphere---lousy, lousy, lousy service!

We had great service. The people we were with loved the food so much they went twice in one week. I have pretty low expectations so it doesn't take much to annoy me....only waiting a long time for the check.

We have eaten at SAI a couple of times and have booked it again for our upcoming trip. We have always experienced great service along with great food. I wouldn't pass it up the atmosphere is awesome, especially in the midst of a summer afternoon, the twilight effect is a nice touch. :wave2:

I like SAI and go there every visit to WDW. We enjoy it. Last time service was slow but we still had a great time. Have a nice trip!
