I am a huge fan of San Angel Inn. I know it has a bad rep.
I have eaten at Akershus, Teppan Edo, Nine Dragons and the Italian restaurant (can't recall the name) as well..I continue to go back to San Angel Inn. Love the scenery. Love the food. Love the margaritas. Love the service. I've eaten there the last 4 trips and plan to again in September.
To each their own--there are a lot of people with only negative things to say. Just know there is someone out there (me!) who is in love with the place!
