Hi everybody, Me and my DW are SO excited about our Sept trip and have been doing alot of research! This board is extremely helpful. We are thinking of getting an ADR at San Angel due to the atmosphere and margaritas, but I'm a picky eater. Will I be able to order something not so spicy without onions there?

We've always loved San Angel Inn! In my general experience, you can make a whole lot of requests and get them honored pretty easily. I think you'll be fine!

You shouldn't have any problems. I have requested no peppers before there, so onions should not be an issue.

If you are just looking for Margaritas though, they have a cart in Mexico that serves them there as well. I always stop there on my way around the showcase. I am just getting thristy again about that time from the grey goose slushies.

We are hoping to try San Angel Inn in Nov as well. Lots of times the food gets slammed here, but I am just so excited to eat and drink margaritas in that beautiful atmosphere!

We ate there on 5-17-09. At $22 a plate for lunch it was Ridiculous. You are better off at Taco Bell. The food was almost flavorless. We have eaten here before and it was ok, but now all it is, is atmosphere.
