Hello All
We are headed to WDW in 25 days. DH and I are getting a night out for dinner just the two of us and then we are hooking up with my cousins and their spouses for a "Semi-Drinking Around the World"!
I have two reservations for dinner that night - one I made and one my Mom made for us w/her account. I can't decide which restaurant to pick. I really want to do San Angel because I like the romantic setting but I have heard good things about Tutto Italia. We are on the dining plan... Both reservations are at the same time... What to do??
Thanks for your help and opinions!!
Debbie

I have not been to San Angel before, as coming from Texas I am afraid to eat mexican food at Disney :lmao: However, I can tell you our meal at Tutto Italia was the highlight of our trip in May. The food and service were amazing, and I enjoyed it more than the signatures we went to.

Really!? What did you eat? Was it loud in there? Did you feel it was "romantic"?
Thanks for any feedback!

We loved San Angel Inn. The atmosphere is incredible and the food is really good too! We've never been to Tutto Italia but we are going next trip and its probably the ADR im most excited about! I've heard awesome things and the menu looks sooo good! One thing I'll say is that if you're more excited about the atmosphere of San Angel Inn than you can still experience that by shopping, drinking or doing the boat ride through the inside of the Pavilion.

dont worry about other peoples opinions cancel one since you are hoarding two ressies

I really hated Tutto Italia when I went. I've been to Italy and I felt that the food was definitely changed to suit an "American Palate." It was rather bland and I felt crowded.

San Angel Inn is a great place. It is candlelit all the time because it is in a "night" setting and I love that! The food is great, although we prefer the lunch menu.

OK - here's something you don't know and I didn't feel I needed to fully explain...I am not hording reservations, whatever restaurant I choose my parents will take the other reservation. As I mentioned I made one reservation under my package confirmation and my parents made one under theirs.
I find it always best to go by the rule my mother taught me when I was growing up...
"If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything!" If you had no opinion and you weren't interested in helping then why even reply.

Been to both multiple times. Since you are on the Dining Plan I can't reccomend one of my favorites Il Mulino in the Swan, or Bistro de Paris which is lovely.

The food is much better at Tutto but it is loud and crowded.

With the dim lights and candles San Angel is definitely more romantic. They serve Tostito salsa and chips so it is fair to average food. That's when we stopped going. I get much better Mexican here at home and we are in the Northeast.

The one caveat is that if it is a pleasant evening and you want to eat outside, eating in the Palazzo at Tutto is romantic.

That is why we go there in the winter months to sit outside. We ate inside because it was raining and the decor is just like a dottering old Grandmothers.
