san angel inn question

Hi all
I was thinking we'd go into San Angel Inn sometime and have a drink and maybe chips w/ guacamole or something. But....I looked on Allears' menus and I didn't see anything simple on the menu like that. Certainly they have chips and salsa right???

If you're mainly interested in an adult beverage you might enjoy La Cava del Tequila which is also in the pyramid, but off to the side. It has a huge array of selections and has gotten very good reviews. Here's a link to a recent article in the Disney Food Blog:

Definitely check out The Cave. The quacamole is a decent serving and not bad tasting. The other appetizers they have there are not as good as the guacamole; they removed many from their original menu.

Also keep in mind that there are only about 5 tables in there; most people stand at the huge bar.

I love this place.

they bring chips and salsa when you're seated at your table... it's complimentary. they do have great offerings even if you got some of their tortilla soup and a dessert. the churros and caramel sauce are amazing!

Chips and salsa are complimentary only at the sit-down restaurant (San Angel Inn). There is a charge for them at La Cava.
