San Angel Inn Menu question

Anyone have any experience asking for substitutions at San Angel Inn? My 10 yr old will definitely want tacos (on the adult menu) when we go, but they're only available with fish at dinner time, which he has a strong aversion to. They have steak and chicken tacos available on their lunch menu, but I'm wondering how easy they would be about asking for chicken or beef instead of fish. Some places are cool about that, while others are just not, and I remember the San Angel restaurants are not Disney owned (I may be misremembering that). Thoughts or experience? Thanks in advance!

I would like to know the answer to this as well. Thanks for the post!

There are both chicken and steak tacos on the children's menu at dinner so it should be no problem to have that increased to an adult portion. I think San Angel is Disney owned, but La Hacienda is not.

All Mexican Restaurants - both at EC and CSR resort - are non Disney owned
