Samsung Front Load Dryer @ Lowes $201.00!!!

I just purchased a Samsung front load dryer for $201.00 as it's being clearanced out. The regular price is $750.00 to $800.00 and it's a 2008 model.

The item number you're looking for is 92607. If they have it at your local Lowes store it will show the higher price, but when they ring it up at the register it will adjust the price to $201.00. Good Luck everyone and I hope this helps someone. If you live close to San Antonio the store on Callaghan and I-10 has 1 left. I purchased the other one this morning.


The price has been updated on website, but it's still $201. Get it like this:

*Change store to San Antonio, Texas" or your own city
*Click Appliances
*Click Washers & Dryers
*Click Dryers
*Click Brand = Samsung
*Sort price low - high

Thank you! There are two Lowes nearby me, but one wouldn't give me the price on the dryer (the one closest) and the other one did. I had to order it (they are out of stock) but will have it later this week.
The associate told me they got a memo that this is to end today (instead of when it was originally scheduled.)
Apparently this was only supposed to be $201 if you bought the washer/dryer pair, but the dryer is ringing up that price either way.
We have needed a new dryer for some time, so this is a life saver for us and a great savings!!
So we have to go a little further to pick up the dryer when it comes in, but it will so be worth it for the savings!! Thank you again.

Just to add to this--I couldn't get it to let me order online either. I had to call the store to place the order over the phone. That's how I found out that it was ending today, and that one store would give me the price and the other would not.

Just call your local Lowe's, let them know the dryer you want to buy, and they can place the order over the phone. You will pay for it then, and when it comes in you can just go and pick it up.

This was an amazing savings!
The Lowe's site was really weird because i couldn't view it online at all, and would only get the error message. They aren't even showing the special online either.

I am guessing that this means that the washer is not on sale, just the dryer?

I just called our local store and they told me the dryer wasn't currently in stock but it's part of a package deal where for $999 you get the washer and dryer...the washer sells for $798 -- so apparently that's why the dryer is ringing up at $201. They look really nice. Our store said if I came in today before 9pm they would order it at that price but couldn't guarantee when it would be here (whick is fine because I don't need it right away).

Isn't Lowe's one of the stores that gives a military discount too? I thought it was 5 or 10 percent...if I ordered both pieces that might be another $50-$100 off!

We just went to our local Lowes and they said that we could not buy the dryer alone for that price. They don't have them in stock, so they are placing orders. The sales associate said it is ringing up that price because they are selling the washer and dryer as a combo deal, so they had to price it that way in the system to get the combo price. The guy said to talk to the manager if I wanted the dryer at that price and if the manager would sell it to me for that price he would quit because that's his money I'm taking away

If they had it in stock I probably would have argued for it, but maybe I'll try calling another store.....Good idea previous poster.

they had an electric one in stock as a scratch and dent at the Lowes near me. i could have gotten it for the $201 but i have gas appliances and i couldn't order one.

knock on wood, what im about to say..... i just called my lowes and ordered the gas dryer $251.00. he said he would place the order and it would take 10days. then a few mins. later he called back and said his manager told him it will be more like 30 days because they are on back order now and if i still want it, Yes, i said im not in any hurry, my dryer is 18 years old now and still working, cross my figures for at least another 30 days. the salesman never said anything about that i had to buy the washer too/ or its a combo deal.

Thanks OP for this thread!! I just went to my local Lowes store and was able to order one for 201.00. It is expected in around the 13th of Dec. Hopefully it is legit and the order won't get cancelled. I didn't get mine with the drawer on the bottom that makes it taller-the salesman said that was an additional 198.00-almost the same price as the dryer.

The price of the washer is $798.00 and the dryer is $201.00. In the ad it does NOT state that both have to be purchased together for that price. In fact, the website had the dryer listed by itself for $201.00 until 7am CT this morning when the price changed to $748.00.

If you go to the store and look at their screen when they pull it up, you will see the $748.00 price at the top of the page (this is the price if being sold separately without the discount), but lower there is the $201.00 C (C being the clearance indicator) price which indicates that it is individually priced at that amount. The price is $201.00 by itself or when purchasing it as a combo. The deal is legit and nobody on here should be afraid of the order being canceled.

Now, anyone who needs a pedastal for this that DOES NOT want to pay $198.00 for it you will need to call around and look for part #256000. They should ring up at $28.01, but some may be even cheaper. If someone finds more than 1 LMK please.

Thank you for the additional info - I felt much more prepared! I just called another store and it showed up on her computer for $201. She's having someone call me back to see if we can order it. There are no Lowes in my town, the first one I called is about an hour away and the one that sounds more hopeful is about 2 hours away in Minneapolis. But for that price, I'm willing to drive down there!
