Sams w/ Disney card--what locale?

It seems that many of us are trying to find out if our local Sams club stores have the Disney gift cards. Please post the location if you find a Sams club that currently has Disney gift cards.

i have yet to find a place in central NC.

I have found all locations in Birmingham, Alabama have them. I do have a question about them. Can they be used anywhere inside the Disney Theme parks? They are just like a regular Visa right?

The gift cards can be, but the bonus can only be used at the Disney Store. Our Sam's finally sold all the ones left from last Christmas and they have no more, I checked today!

Anyone find any in the Kansas City area? I've checked the Grandview, MO location with no luck. Going to head to Overland Park, KS next week so I'll check there as well while I'm running around.

Checked our local Sams Club today, Topeka Ks they where sold out Maybe they will be back this Christmas.

You won't find any anywhere from NC to GA,

I've called every single store in NC, SC and GA last month when they had the open house.

They said, the vendor only leaves them up for display for 6 months and then pulls them back off. So if they went up in Oct/Nov, then they were pulled in June/July timeframe.

I was so sad/ticked/disappointed/let down when I called store after store after store and got the same answer. They all knew exactly what I was talking about, no stores had them. I called over 20 stores.

I guess different regions do things differently? I will say that I had trouble at one of the nearby stores. Apparently the manager didn't know how gcs are processed, and she threw $1100 worth away! Two of the other stores had plenty, and one had zero.

Some say that Sam's is doing away with gcs, others are stocking them up.

Sorry that you haven't been able to find any.

There was another thread on here with people talking about this and someone asked their store to order them for her and they did.

I bought 6 today on Morse rd. in Columbus Ohio and they had plenty. This is after i called a few Sams and people there telling me no they didn't have them. I finally got sick of their "assuming" and asked them to actually go look and lo and behold, yep they had them. I wouldn't bother calling if the Sams is near enough to you. Go check, people seem to rarely look and just think they "know" what they have in stock.

My local Sam's Club has them. It's in Sheffield, west of Cleveland. Just bought one last weekend and used it towards my DW trip next year.

They were available yesterday at Sam's in North Canton, Ohio.

You purchase a $100.00 Disney GC from Sam's for $98.87. Included is a free $10.00 Disney Store GC that can be used at Disney Stores or
Disneystore.com. If you want to sweeten the pot, go to WalMart first and purchase a Sam's Club gift card using your Disney Visa - for the reward points, take your Sam's Club GC to Sam's and purchase your Disney GC. IIRC some folks reported they were able to use the $10.00 card at MouseGear and at World of Disney.

as of 9-9-11 the NJ stores have them back. They were out of them but the Gift Card display is back out and they are on it again.

The North Charleston, SC Sams Club doesn't have them...or so the sales person said. But she also did not really seam to know what I was talking about...I think I might go in and ask to talk to the Manager in a day or 2. Used to teach his kid....
