Just wanted to give a list to a friend on what food to try from each country.

Instead of a sit-down meal, he'll try 1 item at each country on the on the go.

Can anyone tell what not miss in each country?

Thanks.

This is what we got:

Egg roll in China
Yakitori (chicken on a skewer) in Japan
Chips and salsa and cheese in Mexico
Bevertail in Canada
Fish & Chips in UK
Chocolate Croissant/Strawberry Tart/French Bread in France
Funnel Cake in USA

These were all from the counter service places.

Norway has great open faced sandwiches and the rice cream is really good, too.

In Germany you can try knockwurst and sauerkraut and they have good soft pretzels.

We did:
Nachos and frozen margaritas in Mexico
Fried rice and egg roll in China
Sushi and snow cones (Kaki Goris -sp) in Japan
Fish and Chips and Ale in England
Schwarma sandwich in Morocco (SOOO good)
Beaver Tails in Canada - the maple was YUM!!!

I can't wait to go back to Epcot just to eat!

That is a great idea

I must try that and it will most likely save money

We do this eating around the world every trip. Usually we share the food we order. In Mexico, it's always the combination plate, Norway, either the chocolate cake or a vaffel. Italy, tiramisu, Morocco a lamb sandwich. In Germany we usually get a hot pretzel, last time we had bratwurst or whatever sausage it is that they serve at their counter. China is eggrolls, Japan, kaki gori, France pastry. In America we have a turkey leg, UK is fish and chips (of course) and Canada is a beavertail. I think I go them all- and DH always washes these little snacks down with whatever alcoholic beverage is served.

Banana Hammock - We like to munch our way around World Showcase, too, but it's by no means cheap. Even without alcohol it cost us something around $60 (however some of our food $ were wasted on the 2 kids the first time, who considered most things to be "YUCK" - would definitely have been cheaper if we had only considered the adult tastes). Now our strategy is to feed the children on McNuggets near Canada or wait and get a hot dog at America.

The buffet at Akershus or the Biergarten would have been considerably cheaper at lunch for two adults and two children. It's a lot of fun, but it's not necessarily a bargain - I was really surprised when I added up all those receipts.

Because our Ds are older (13 & 16), they are off on their own, so Dh, DD (5) and I get to eat around the World by ourselves! We so look forward to this!! We take our time, sit and enjoy what we eat and people watch! So much fun!!:) Sometimes it can be as simple as a candy covered chocolate covered pretzel from Germany, or walker's shortbread from the tea shop in UK, but we definately have our favorite things (choc. croissants, kaka-gori, Margarita's )

I am so hungry now!!!
