Hi all

Do any of you know where I can get some (FREE!) sample itineraries for each park? We know where we're going each day... and never planned on making a strict regime for each park, but it would be nice to have a better idea of what is crowded when...

Thanks

I don't know where to find free sample itineraries, but you should really give Tour Guide Mike a try. It costs $18 but it is worth it. He has sample itineraries, least crowded days, best days to go and why, and so much more. I kept hearing good reviews from many people on this board so I decided to give him a try.

The Unofficial Guide has lots of free touring plan info on their website (http://www.touringplans.com.). Look for the link that says "Touring Plans". If you have a local public library, you may be able to get the print version of the Guide for free there, which has lots of great info and additional touring plans. (If they don't own it, ask the librarians if there's a way they can get it for you!)

I found reading some trip reports helpful.

When I made our first trip itinerary, I was planning to do more things than there was time for.

We have NEVER been able to goto MK and do everything we wanted to in 1 day.

Try searching the boards here - I know lots of people post their itineraries looking for advice and such. I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but here are my itineraries for our upcoming trip. We've been a few times, so our plans are highly tailored to attractions we love to revisit or have never tried.

Magic Kingdom:
Ride BTMRR
Ride Splash Mountain
Get FP to return to one of above
Ride POTC
Walk through Swiss Family Treehouse
Return to Splash/BTMRR
Ride Haunted Mansion
(Breakfast at Chef Mickey's)
Get FP for Space Mountain
Experience Stitch's Great Escape
Ride Tomorrowland Indy Speedway
Return to Space Mountain
See Philharmagic
Wander park randomly

Epcot:
Ride Spaceship Earth if no other rides are open yet
Ride Test Track
Ride Soarin'
Experience the Living Seas
See HISTA and JIYI
Ride Maelstrom/eat rice cream
Randomly explore the World Showcase
(Lunch at Le Cellier)
Return to resort for swim & nap
Return to Epcot
Consider FP for Mission:Space
Snacks/Dinner at World Showcase
Illuminations

MGM:
Ride RNRC
Ride TOT
Ride Star Tours
See Muppet Vision
Experience Sounds Dangerous
Randomly tour park
(Lunch at Sci-Fi)

Animal Kingdom:
Ride Expedition Everest/Get FP
Ride Kali River Rapids
Ride Dinosaur
Ride Primeval Hurl (not me!)
Return for EE FP
Ride KRR
See Flights of Wonder
(Lunch at Pizzafari & Flame Tree BBQ)
See FOTLK
Randomly wander park

The rest of our days are devoted to hitting favorite rides at park opening, with hopping, swimming, etc in the afternoons. We do intend to do EMH evening hours, but without set plans. I hope this helps!

For detailed general plans, I strongly recommend shelling out the cash for the Unofficial Guide or the Passporter, both excellent books that include itineraries for each park.

I second that...TGM is really worth the money for all of the information, and his plans really do work. We just got back, and TGM saved us a lot of time waiting in lines.
