Same name?

Do you know a couple that have the same name? I work with a lady named Jean, her dh's name is Gene. My SO knows of a couple, both named Shannon. That's just freaky. A friend of his lives with his elderly mom. Her name is Jo, his name is Joe. It's so confusing when you call there because if you ask for Joe, Jo says "this is Jo."

I'm unique in my family. My kids and my SO have a different last name than I do. Well, Boo has my last name, I guess that makes us both unique.

Yes. My Mom's name is Debi and my Dad's name is Rick. I have a cousin Debbie that's married to a guy named Rick.

The scary thing is that the guy my cousin married has the same last name as my parents' but are no relation. There are 2 families in the area with that last name

Our next door neighbors are Tracy & Tracy! Never heard of a guy named Tracy before him. But they named their little girl Jessie. When DH and I are talking about them, we always say, "the girl Tracy" or "the guy Tracy".

No, but...

When my DBF still lived with his parents it was quite confusing when I phoned or whatever because: His Mum and Sister are both Elizabeth (Liz and Lizzie respectively) and my DBF is Jon whereas his Mothers SO is John! That was the most confusing, because when we were first together and I phoned and asked him mum/sister/brother (Russ) for 'Jon' they would ask 'Jon Collinson or John Lunn' LOL

My parents get me to call his mothers SO 'Lunny' so they can distinguish when I am talking about one or the other

Oh yeah and I talked to a lady at work the other day called Dale - has anyone ever heard of Dale as a girls name before? I haven't!

Yes! When we were visiting out friends in Florida, their parents were also in town Their names?......Joe, Jo & Jo!!! Two Moms and a Dad. At least I didn't have to worry about forgetting or mixing up their names!!

My older DB married a girl name Lisa Marie (same as me) so there were 2 of us by the exact same name for 8 years.
