I started WW on Monday 10/20/03. My starting weight was 240lbs. The first week did not go to good. I got a new scale the second week and it said 235lbs. (10/27/03) So the old scale was of by 5lbs Following week 236lbs. (11/03/03) That I week I finally got on the right track. I lost 3lbs (233lbs on 11/10/03) :bounce: The following week I lost 2lbs (231lbs on 11/17/03):Pinkbounc

So officially I have been doing WW for two weeks. I really like WW because I can eat whatever I want but portioned controlled. I have not given up my favorite take-out (chinese) :teeth: I have made better choices (ex: white rice instead of pork fried rice, splitting an eggroll with DH)
 
I lost 2 lbs this week! :Pinkbounc 11/24/03 For a total of 7lbs in 3wks. I did not stay on plan twice last week, but I did great on the weekend. I did alot of walking. I am so glad it has been nice enough to walk with the kids.

I forgot to add that my weight on this morning was 229lbs.
 
I am down 1.5lbs this week considering it was a Holiday weekend. I have lost a total of 8.5lbs. I am currently at 227.5. :Pinkbounc
 
I gained back the 1.5lbs I lost last week. :mad: I had TOM and did NOT stick to plan since Wednesday. I am back on track today.
My current weight is 229lbs
 

You know, that TOM guy can be a real pain!! Don't worry, though. When he leaves, the Whoosh Fairy often comes for a quick visit and the scale goes down! ::yes::

You're doing great! I don't use WW but lots of people around here do. It seems like it's working well for you!

Keep up the good work and watch those pounds just melt away! :sunny:
 
I just read through your journal and you seem to be doing so well on WW. I was on it years ago and was pretty successful but got back into my old eating habits (shame on me). Just wanted you to know I enjoyed reading your journal and know you can do this!
 
Hey Girl! Wanted to post and say way to go on the weight loss! I've tried WW in the past but for some reason it just doesn't work for me. My Mom has also tried it and failed - must be something with our metabolism or something. But I do know LOTS and LOTS of people that have followed WW and lost a lot of weight and maintained so it is definately a great plan. Plus I always found it was easy to follow! :) I cannot wait to meet you in February!

Well I lost 2.5 lbs this week. Which makes up for the 1.5lb gain last week. I am currently at 226.5 making this a total of 9.5lbs total loss. GRRR I want my 10lb clippie. :p I need to be a little more cautious with my eating. Too much picking at DH and DS food. The only excersize I am getting is the walking in the malls. I need to start something at home. I would love to lose 6.5lbs over the next few weeks before the New Year. But with the holidays we will see.
 
I have been so buisy with Christmas that I did not report on Monday. It is already Friday. I lost 1lb this week and that earned me my 10lb clippie. ::yes:: I weighed 225.5 on Monday 12-22-03.
 
I lost only a .5lb this week. I was down 2.5lbs on Christmas morning but oh well. I am back on track now and feeling great.
My current weight is 225lbs. Here is to a better New Year. :sunny:
 
Okay do you know how much 10 lbs is! I would be ecstatic with 10lbs gone. Seriously go pick up 2 bags of potatoes and that is how much weight you have lost - pretty cool huh!

Hey girl here is some motivation for you - I want to be full of energy when we are down in WDW plus I want to actually be in some of our pictures so I am going to bust my butt to get 10 lbs gone by the end of January! Heres to us!

Congratulations to you Samandmom on earning your 10lb clippie. I just started WW, and hope eventually to get a 10lb clippie too.:D
 
You are doing so well and WW's seems to be agreeing with you. The holidays are hard and one day you might be down and the next up. I think a lot of it depends on what you have eaten the day before (sodium can really mess you up). The day before I'm going to WI, I really try to limit the amount of salt that I have.

Keep up your great work and your 10# clippie looks great, I'll bet you'll be trading up very soon.
 
I am up .5 lb this week. My current weight is 225.5. I don't have many obstacles in my way before our trip. I am ready to get back on plan and sticking with it. (NO MORE HOLIDAYS) I have a Baptism and DD Birthday coming up. I will just save my Flex Points for those days. I can do this. ::yes::
 
You said it all "I can do this" and yes you can. When we set our minds to something we truly can do it. Keep up your hard work and it's smart to save your flex points for the events you know are coming up. Have a wonderful day.:D
 
Your doing great. I just started WW today and will use your success thus far to insire me to do well. It sounds like you are doing it from home and not going to the meetings for the weigh in. I couldn't stay for my 1st meeting because I had the kids with me. I may just go for the weigh in each week for motivation until I get tired of handing over the $12 just to get my weight (which I can get at home for free!). Keep up the good job!
 
I am getting very frustrated. It's always something. This time it's TOM. :mad: I am up a 1lb this week. (226.5) I don't intend to give up. I am giving CURVES a try. :D
 
1 lb for the TOM really isn't bad so don't get too discouraged. I know you can do it girl!

Hang in there! I love weight watchers. No fads here, just smart choices. Congrats on getting your 10 lg clippie. I have just started back with ww but I promiseto give you a run for your money. Even with a head start. :D

I am down a 1lb this week. (225.5) I did have TOM most of last week and it was DD's 1st Birthday Party on Saturday. I have joined Curves and my goal is to at least 3 times a week but I will try for 4 times. :smooth: I have been doing really good so far this week. I am recording everything I eat. I tired of seeing 225-226 for a few weeks now. As of this morning I am down another 2lbs. (This does not count till Monday :p
