Sales tax on DVC??

We're thinking about buying into DVC and so I'm trying to do lots of research.
This might be a stupid question, but is any type of tax (ie sales/ state etc)added on to the price per point and/ or annual dues? And if so does anyone know the current rate?

You would think there would be sales tax added but it isn't. I won't pretend I know enough as to be able to say why but suffice to say the price you 'see' is the price you pay

There is no additional tax added onto either points or dues - the price quoted is the price you pay plus around $200 closing costs. My guess (without going and looking at my DVC paperwork) is that any tax is incorporated in the price per point.

Thanks guys - we were convinced there would be sales tax on top - what a pleasant surprise! Looks like the dream's getting closer
