We are looking to buy now.We were at disney in aug. did the sales presentation. Now we are ready. Can someone recommend a sales person.I wasn't that excitied about the agent from august would like to fine a new if I am allowed to.Please help.

Our agent was Jim McCoy, I highly recommend him. HOWEVER ! once you do a presentation your name goes in to Disney's DVC mainframe computer and the agent that showed you the presentation is assigned to be your agent (we call them CM's for cast member). So in conclusion it won't mattter who we recomend to you, you will automatically be bounced to the agent that showed you DVC back in August.

Hope this helps...

I think that you can easily ask a DVC sales supervisor to have you assigned to another agent.

I'd urge you to first look at available RESALES before purchasing through Disney...........unless you have your heart set upon VWL. You could save substantial $$:) :) :) ...........

We had a Sales Agent which we met with a few years back and were unhappy with. This was the main reason we did not buy.

During our visit in Dec 2001 we met with a new one named Larissa Predergast who was excellent. We consequently asked the original agent be removed from our account.

We will be buying into BC as soon as it becomes available.

an agent you can trust and are comfortable with is the difference.:bounce:

We Bought in October Natacha Brown was our guide. I strongly suggest you use her. As I under stand it she has been with DVC for along time and really knows the system. She has been a great help to me and my family.

Another satisfied Jim McCoy family here! He was our agent and was patient with us as it took my family almost 2 years from the initial contact to purchase. He is so nice and laid back, we just love him!

"Ticket", I'd urge you to look at resales to save yourself some considerable money..........unless your heart is set on VWL or BCV.

Good Luck,

I highly recommend Randy Kruger. He has been with DVC since the get go and is just great.

A third vote for Jim McCoy. We asked an absolute boat-load of questions spread across several months, and without fail, he took the time to answer every one to our satisfaction. No pressure, laid back, friendly, and patient.

Another Jim McCoy vote! I call him often to ask him strange questions, sometimes he doesn't know the answers, he won't give you an incorrect response, he tells me he doesn't know and finds out the answer and calls me back. I like that in a sales person, I have no problem with someone telling me they don't know an answer but they will find out and call me back. I have been talking with Jim for over a year now waiting for BCV to go on sale, he always knows who I am as soon as he hears my name and asks about my kids, he is very patient and not pushy.

well here is a vote for Bettie Pleasant. she has been extremely helpful to me, although I was an easy sell for her, as I did most of my learning HERE so I knew a lot by the time I called her for the book and video, and then even more by the time we took the tourtwo weeks ago. So she did not have to really do too much explaining of the system of points and banking/borrowing and the like.

Anyways I still like her,

Mike

I bothered her for a year and a half with information requests. She was patient, knowledgeable and professional. She was very low pressure and gave me everything I needed to come to the best decision.

Another Bettie Pleasant fan here! She really lives up to her name. Very helpful but low key. She's been wonderful through our three contracts.

We just went to an open house on Sunday after speaking with a guide over the phone since October. Unfortunately, she wasn't available, so we went with Rafael (can't remember his last name.) We signed. We asked about the commissions... the two will split the commission, and we will have them both as Member Guides, we can choose a primary guide. We liked Rafael a lot, and we are happy to have him as a guide, as he connected well with us.

Also EXTREMELY low pressure. We were sure we wanted to make the purchase, and sure we wanted VWL, but the lady we spoke to on the phone was very urgent about the sale. Rafael let us secure the points/contract/property and also understood our desire to pay at the end of the month. He gave us several 'stalling' strategies. We are confident about everything through him.

Another Jim McCoy vote!!!

We met Jim in Dec, 2000 and bought in April, 2001. He was just super and I hope to be visiting him again in May when we go down!! I need some HH points....just have to find a way to convince DH!!!

Good luck to you!!

I have to cast a second vote for Bettie Pleasant. Her business card lists her as a "Senior Vacation Club Guide." I had her phone number as being 800-827-7104.

Here's another wonderful person for you. Her name is Diane Henry. We met with her in Sept of last year and she was so energetic, funny, and very honest with us.

I never see her name here, so I must give a vote for Mayra Ramirez. My DH took the tour solo, and after we came home she spent about 45 minutes on the phone with me answering all my questions. I'm looking forward to meeting her in person for the first time when we stay at BWV this summer!
