Sale Pending Question?

I did it, made an offer on a Vero resale on Friday, I haven't heard back whether it was accepted by the sellers, but it is showing as sale pending on the Timeshare Store Website!!! Do you think that means it was accepted and it would already go to Disney without contacting me for a deposit? Or could it be someone got in before me and when I made my offer, the agent didn't know it was already sold? Hopefully I will hear something tomorrow!

I would hope that they would call you right away if they put the offer in and then found out that it was already sold. Of course, I would hope that they would contact you if your offer was accepted. Seems like poor communications by the selling agency either way.

Same thing happened to us. I saw "sale pending" on the website and panicked, thinking someone else had overbid us. Because our offer was on Friday afternoon I was crossing my fingers and hoping it was a case of time running out before the agent could contact the sellers and then us. I called today (Sunday) and was told that our offer did go through late Friday, so hopefully the same thing happened with your offer. Then we can sweat out ROFR together!

Well no Pixie Dust here!!! Found out today that someone bought it after I put in my bid!!! I was too cheap! it was for a 50 point add on at Vero with 50 banked points, which I really didn't need. So I offered $63.00 per point and would pay half of the closing, they were asking $68.00 per point. at 63 it would be $66.75 a point paying only half the closing points, somehting this small, might as well go with DVC direct.
