[Happy Cruisers]

We have been on one DCL cruise, which we just loved. We were wondering though instead of these fancy salads they serve, can we just order a plain garden salad with ranch, I dont see it on the menues. Just wondering.

Just got off the 1/15 Magic. I had a plain Bibb lettuce or Garden salad almost every night. Its not on the menu, but they have them handy. Ranch and Bleu Cheese were available, as well as other dressings.

If you want to try a "fancy" salad, you can ask for those with a different dressing, too.

The truth is you can get just about anything. All you have to do is ask your server. They are great. On our Jan 2002 7 day we kept watching the menu for key lime pie, our favorite. The next to the last night we mentioned to our server that we were surprised to be sailing in the Carribean and not have key lime pie. Well, the following (last night of cruise) instead of bringing a dessert menu, our server presented our table with an entire key lime pie. He had talked with the pastry chef who made him one. Actually, we did not even have to ask, just based on our comment he made it happen.
