I just got a message from Laura (RachelTori) and her traveling crew and they are having a terrific time. Just finished eating at Garden Grill!

Morning! And awesome for them! Reading about everyone going makes me want to go back, NOW. haha. At lunch today, there was a table next to us talking to the owner about just getting back from Disney. Not helping the anxiety!!

Good news today! I'm the one that posted who purchased from ebay and the seller disappeared. A friend who also bought from the seller just checked in today with his reservation at the AKL Jambo House...poolside room! It's looking postive for us too! We visit Aug 7th!
These days are going to fly for us too. My son is playing All Star Baseball in July. We just came in first play rec ball and he's in a tournament with his travel team finishing tomorrow! 8 games in 6 days!

I'm just getting excited about our stay in a Savannah View room next May and we haven't even booked it yet! October 2nd we can call and try to switch over from SSR. I was also craving some ZDs, but don't know if we will make it to the lodge next trip as much as I would like to

Excited over here- finally convinced DH to make ADR's last night for RnC, Via Napoli, and the High Tea at the Grand Floridian!!

He... thinks I'm crazy for it.. and the WDW site about drove him nuts ....

But it's done! And we actualy got in! From all the stories on here, I was expecting to have nothing available!

And of course DH is looking at me like, "You do remember last year... we went to Boma breakfast... RnC... no ADR... 45 minute wait.... right?"

It is amazing how the same company can do things so differently. In 2009, I attended MNSSHP. I booked my tickets in advance and was given a confirmation number. When I arrived at WDW, I just went to guest services, presented the confirmation number and my DVC membership card and got my ticket. So I rang the ticket hotline for Disneyland today and I assumed that it would work the same for tickets for Mickey's Halloween Party. I was then told that they do not allow pick up of tickets. I either have to have them shipped or I have to wait until I get to California to buy them. She did not think that I would have any trouble getting them once I arrive so I have opted to do this.

tried the zebra domes, hated them, tried the chicken flatbread at Mara, hated that too.

However, Sanaa was the best food I've had in a really long time. YUM!!!

Happy house hunting

Having a great time so far, but you guys are going to hate me for this...

Zebra Domes... I can take 'em or leave 'em. But I like them well enough to have just one!

Anyone hear from Kim lately?? And I am worried about our Italian friend, Laura. We haven't heard from her lately either. I hope both families are doing OK!
