My weekend has arrived:banana:

Crazy weather....We went to take Beauty for a walk, and got caught in a torrential downpour we were soaked:laughing: Now the sun is shining.
Supposed to be almost 100 here later:scared1:

Today is just errands, food shopping, PetSmart (big sale), all that fun stuff, lol. And out to dinner tonight.

128 more days until vacation:dance3:

Summer is here for now! Gonna be a hot one today and tomorrow and will be in the 50's again over the weekend:laughing: Stupid New England.

Today is my Friday:woohoo:

129 more days until WDW!:dance3:

How is your new job going?

We just came back from there with a lake view that was practically a MK view. We're just looking so forward to taking our friend to WDW next May. She's never been and will love the Savannah view at Kidani. She had a heart attack Saturday night, but is doing well and was released from the hospital yesterday. This trip is really giving her something to look forward to and a reason to keep her health up.

Oh no! I hope that she recovers quickly. pixiedust:

How are you & Bob?

Tori, JD & I have her college orientation tomorrow. :yay: (one more thing I can check off the list!! :woohoo:)

We are doing OK. :goodvibes Everyone but the home health nurse has discharged him, so we are now in charge of his physical and speech therapy until they can get him scheduled at the hospital for his day rehab program. Hopefully it will only be a week or so before that kicks in! He is so nice and agreeable to all the therapists who come to the house, but when I tell him it is time for him to do his speech/swallowing exercises or do some PT he becomes a growly bear. I told him yesterday that he had them all snowed but I know the REAL Bob and I won't put up with his slacking off. :rotfl:

I hope JD and Tori have fun today! :yay:

Hello,

I have been to Disney just a couple times and only once with my children.

I just booked 5 days and 4 nights at the Kidani Villas. We have 4 children ages 3-7 and got a two bedroom villa. We are planning on going to animal kingdom park and magic kingdom.

We asked for a savannah view and the reservation person suggested close to the lobby and 2nd floor.

I was wondering if any of you thought this was good advice or if there are other things we should ask for or change. He also talked about the 2 bedroom suites in Jambo House, but they were nearly twice the price with no kitchen, so that didn't make sense to me.

Only my two oldest have been before and they were 3 and 1 at the time, so don't really remember. We stayed at the Grand Floridian that time, but were looking for more of a kid theme this time. My kids love animals more than characters, so that's why I picked Animal Kingdom.

Thanks for any and all advice.
