LOL --- the photographer sent one to my new DIL - and she sent it to my phone......... so far, he's SLOW, but, he did have a few other weddings to do............ in time we'll get them!

We are staying at AKL Kidani 2 bedroom villa on my sisters DVC points this Oct. We have a Lockout...i finally figured out what that means LOL. But I was curious about a few other things.
1) What food options are available at Kidani?
2) Does Kidani have any special things going on like animal feeding night veiwing?
3) Whats the Kidani pool like is Jambo pool better for kids age 9 and 11?
4) How far is it from Kidani to Jambo if we need to go there for CS meals entertainment etc? Can we walk?
5) Can you request a room closer to Jambo and are they pretty nice about requests at check in?

We are staying at AKL Kidani 2 bedroom villa on my sisters DVC points this Oct. We have a Lockout...i finally figured out what that means LOL. But I was curious about a few other things.
1) What food options are available at Kidani?
2) Does Kidani have any special things going on like animal feeding night veiwing?
3) Whats the Kidani pool like is Jambo pool better for kids age 9 and 11?
4) How far is it from Kidani to Jambo if we need to go there for CS meals entertainment etc? Can we walk?
5) Can you request a room closer to Jambo and are they pretty nice about requests at check in?

OK let's see what I can answer.

1) The food options are Saana, room service, plus there are some options at the pool bar and some frozen food in the gift shop that you can heat up in your room.

2) there is story telling, movies by the pool and some other activites. However, you need to go over to Jambo house for night vision animal viewing.

3) Can't answer

4) yes you can walk, the time will depend upon where in Kidani your room is. It is probably 10-20 minutes depending upon where you are. You can also drive over if you have a car, or take one of the buses.

5) I have never had much luck requesting or changing a room at check in.

Good morning!!

How's Bob doing, Elin? And how are you? Recital time (right?), so I'm sure you're busy!

Morning Elin, hows everything?

It is recital time! I graduated two classes of students this week. I only have 21 recitals to get through by June 12th!

Bob has had some very good days and a few that were not as good as the others. Overall, things are going well. He is scheduled to do a barium swallow evaluation at the end of the month so we will have a better idea how things are going on that front. He is getting stronger all the time and can now walk about 60 feet with his walker without assistance! His physical therapist was discussing when she will discharge him to hospital PT and when he might be able to drive again. I cannot believe all of this. It continues to amaze me that he has accomplished so much in a relatively short period of time; stroke patients need at l;east a year for major recovery so we are on the short end of that part of his life. I know there is still so much left to achieve, but wow!!
