First post here in the AKL Lite page. I'll be visiting for the first time Aug 28- September 3. Victoria and Albert s Queen Victoria Room, Brown Derby, Flying Fish, Via Napoli, Le Cellier, Raglan Road, Boma, Jiko, Yak & Yeti, and a few others reserved. I have always been at Pop Century with Quick Service dining but I decided to treat myself and my friend who has been taking care of her mother with terminal cancer.

So add me too

2700 is a nice solid number!!! I always forget to look where I am at.

So I was looking at the list for August and I am the only one not at AKL, kind of pouted for a few minutes, then remembered that I would still be at Disney. Since we allowed our Son to bring a friend for his birthday, AKL really is out of the picture, BUT if that young man can't go, I am switching quicker than I can currently type....


I also noticed for a while it was just me in December, but now the month is filling up. Actually the whole year. The list is really getting long!!

Sorry for the quick posts and such, still hard to get the hands to do what the brain wants!! I read daily though to keep up.

Yeah, I really miss being here all the time. Plus I guess my brain and hands are saying things that I don't mean them to, so I really have to be careful!!

Thought I would end with a nice sunny AKL picture!!! Hope everyone is having a good week.

Good morning. So a small update, Dh didn't bomb the test but didn't ace it either. needed around a 1500 and got 1350ish which is really good any other time but this one. sooo now we have to see if I can still take dd1 out of school 3 days early. if not i'll be calling to postpone our trip. I'm thinking maybe mid-late july. Hoping for the 2br villa with a savannah view but won't get my hopes up...oh and we'll have to stay 1 less night as that puts us in a higher point bracket. What other DVC options would you all recommend that would fit our family of 6? Any help is appreciated...and maybe a little pixi dust as well? Thanks.

Sorry I can't catch up on all the pages I missed Been pretty busy this week! Started new job on Monday, we're working 9-3 Mon-Thurs and 8-2 Fri this week, 1st week of training they like to go easy on us with the hours. But I've errands every night after work, and hanging with puppy, so I haven't been able to be online much.
So far so good, the training is intense like I thought it would be. Yesterday the manager/trainer , 1st thing out of his mouth is that we're not all going to make it There are 4 of us, sounds like his expectation is that 2 people usually make it...Well, I need to be one of them, I can't be unemployed again!

Almost time to walk Beauty, see you all when I can...Miss you all

Well you know what they say, "when it rains, it pours". We got a call from my mil yesterday morning saying dh's grandma passed away. Now we are trying to figure out if he will get to go to the funeral. We still don't know if we are leaving for Disney in 9 days or not, i should know something more by the end of today.
