I told him it was my b-day weekend so he wouldn't have to get me anything if we went before the cruise I also pulled the it's our 20th anniversary together so we should do something. This was his reaction as he said I was pulling at straws. Hey - if it gets me another vacation, you bet I am.

CIAO !!! It has been some time since I could visit here !!

( Much is going on with my parents and dear MIL ; besides I broke my ankle during a field trip with my older pupils ... 2 weeks without walking !!! 2 more with a new air cast ... now I'm doing some rehab ....................................
AND I can SLOWLY walk again !!!)

I was glad to have news about Bob , though I can see how he is "tired" and would like to have a better recovery soon !!!! It surely isn't nice when the doc says : It will take time ...
My thoughts and prayers will continue ; I'll also ask my young pupils to ... speed up the last stars needed to complete the whole "heart for Bob " !
WE will also say a special prayer for you , Elin , and family ; it must be so hard and worrying for you all !!

Laura - HUGS to YOU!!!! You broke your ankle?!?!? You poor thing! How did you teach? I bet your pupils had a heart of stars going for you too. I hope you are doing better and there is some better news for your parents and MIL.

When your pupils finish their "heart for Bob" I would love to see a picture if you can do that. He would be so happy to see something like that. He was amazed that your pupils would do that for him. We both got a little teary-eyed when I told him the story.

Our younger daughter and her room mate are at WDW right now. They are on their Second Annual Davy Jones Marathon Concert Trip.

They are not at AKL but I know you Jamborinis would love the text she sent me last night. It said: Shelly at Mardi Grogs says to say "Hello!" She totally recognized me. We are barflies, Mama!

Right people, i'm probably going to sound really annoying but i'm just VERY confused about a few things.

I really want to stay at AKL for my future visit but my problem is my boyfriend likes to cook as he's very fussy about food whilst he's on holiday so he wants a room with a kitchen so he can cook a few dinners & that & to limit spendage on food around WDW (not too much to ask though really? Since i am dragging him to Disney after all... ) BUT i would like to have CL aswell & i know there's only a limited amount of CL DVC villas in Jambo House. But we'll probably rent DVC points as soon as the time we want to go becomes available (not decided yet).

So right.. the normal CL rooms are on the 4th floor now yes? Are they in a specific area or dotted around? I know they all have Savanna views.
But what about DVC CL rooms, what floor are they on? & where abouts exactly are they located? We were thinking about a 1br villa.

Yes, the regular CL rooms are on the 4th floor and they are generally in the pods right off the lobby. They are identical to the regular savanna view rooms, the difference being you get turn-down service and some other special touches, plus access to the Lounge.

I don't want you to get your hopes up that you will be able to rent a 1-bedroom CL Villa. They are only on the 6th floor (Lounge level) and EXTREMELY limited. I think there are only 5 (someone will correct me if I'm wrong).

If you are unable to get the CL Villa, you might want to look at getting a 1-bedroom in Kidani Village. This way, your boyfriend can cook (it's a really nice kitchen! ) It's not CL, but it is REALLY nice!

Yes, i'm aware the chances are pretty low but we WILL try, hahaha! So are the DVC CL villas all above the Lobby area then?

& someone told me there is 10 DVC CL villas, 5 2 bedroom lock offs.

& yes i do LOVE the look of Kidani Village - if we can't get a DVC CL villa that will be our 2nd choice! I prefer Kidani's villa bathrooms anyway! We're keeping our options open since we'll probably do half/half as we're planning on a 2 week holiday, so 1 week AKL & 1 week possibly BLT.
