WOW when I see that map it brings all the memories back of how BIG that resort is.

Our trip in December, my mom was on the far end of Kudo Trail and we were on the opposite end on the Zebra trail.

I like the size. And heck, we stay At Kidani...where the running joke is "Are these hallways ACTUALLY stretching?!?"

I figure it's good for me. Helps me walk off those couple extra zebra domes from dinner.

We are headed to AKL-CL 10/29-11/9. We haven't stayed @ AKL in 8 years. However we always go over for dinner during our trips. I was so excited at first to stay here again. But now I don't know I'm just BLAHHHHHHHH. It's my DHs FAVORITE resort and he so wants to stay here again. We were suppose to stay at BW ( I really wanted to try it.) I need some help getting excited again. I do LOVE the resort. I was just looking forward to walking to EPCOT and HS. I am excited to have our first CL stay. HELP ME!!!!

Just added on a few days at AKL 7/27-30 to the end of our summer trip...very excited for our first stay there

We ate at Boma last month after yummy breakfast and walking around the resort my "I dont want to stay there" DH quickly agreed to give it a try I jumped on it!

yaknow i'm gonna be really ticked off if my vacation gets cancled due to this shutdown stuff. I know there is sooo much more to worry about right now this just adds to it lol

besides rhe vacation I juat want to have a job. Both my DH and I are federal contractors so when the shut down happens we are too without any hope if back pay just unemployment.

I really don't want it to come down to it but it sure seems to be going that direction. Ughhhhh

whew looks like we aren't going to have to worry boy those guys in congress really know how to make a girl sweat. Thank goodness everyone was able to put their big kid pants on and play nice in the end.

We are only tied over until the 15th to get the legislation passed if that passes we are good until September 30th. Hopefully congress has decided to play well together and pass the legislation.

Wow, I don't check for a few days and this thread is 10 pages longer!

I received my DME paperwork today. But there is an error on the flight info so I need to check on that and make sure my flight didn't change.

If it didn't change, I'll call DME on Monday. The wait times on the phone have been longer on weekends so I've quit calling then unless it's urgent.

We are staying for the first time at AKL AUG 20-31, how long will the bus take to get to MK and is it usually standing room only on the buses in the morning?
