I've had some rough time with my job ; besides my Mom had a surgery ( right eye ) and we have had some issues ...
Now things were coming together ... but this morning she was again in the emergency room ...

I'm just checking in ... to ask for some PD and prayers , PLEASE !!!

Work has been nuts...and I have far fewer "Watch the progress bar fill and browse the net" kinda days.

But...we do have trip coming up this October....so maybe that will prod me to be more active around the DIS again. Had to skip a 2010 trip due to regulatory visits, etc, around here. Will be over 2 years between trips for us...THAT'S JUST WRONG!!!

Well...I'll try to "stay tuned" for further info.

We'll be arriving on the 6th (we're actually arriving in Orlando late on the 5th, staying at the Hard Rock that night, and doing Islands of Adventure on the 6th...heading to Kidani to check in once we finish up there), and are planning dinner at Boma's that night around 6:30-ish. There will be SEVEN of us (My family + my mom + my step dad). Doing MK on the 7th, I think?

I'm considering adding on pts. - if I do, I want to move over to Kidani if it's avail. - the 1br's there are SO much better!! We'll see, with our son's wedding coming up, adding on right now might not be the best idea I ever had.................... - but you guys will LOVE it over there! Have you stayed at Kidani yet??

Yup, we stayed there in 2009, in a 2BR. Mom and Step dad joined us for that trip, too.

THIS time, we're staying at AKV (Kidani) in a 1 BR...they decided to get their own room at All Star Music.

The pool area was a winner with our kids...and the walk to Boma's is JUST long enough to burn off those couple extra zebra domes I packed away.

My name is Diane, I am addicted to AKL. I visit each time I am in Disney but my first stay at the Lodge was February. It was the vacation from "not Heaven", but I still love it. So I am going back in December for 8 nights in a CL room. Santa loved me this year. BTW, shhh, my Santa is DH. He finally caved and agreed even though it will be his 3rd vacation this year and his boss only took one. I don't feel guilty though, DH doesn't get paid and we go during the businesses slow season thus creating extra cash-flow for the company. See, it's not my obsession, it's just good business sense.

My fall plans have changed. Instead of going for DD's birthday (October 2-4), I'm going SOLO for MY birthday (Nov5-7) Still don't know where I'll be staying (but I might by the end of the day)...
