Well, it's NOT raining right now!!!! BUT, the wind is blowing HARD and it's looking like it'll rain again at any minute. Power stayed on all night, so - things are looking good!!!

Bracing for the rains -- it hasn't arrived yet for us but they're still saying "on the way" -- then headed to the Carolinas and Virginia. Stay safe.

What a strange storm this has been. Here on the east side of ATL, we've had a couple of sprinkles. Over to the west, lots of torrential downpours and several tornadoes. No Thunder & Lightning since this is a tropical storm.

Tori's campus had a tornado very near. They were all huddled in their dorm bathrooms. Everyone is fine, thank goodness. I'm sure we'll hear more about the damage later.

Hanging out here with you all is......wonderful! However, now I really want to plan a quick trip to F&W next month. Not sure if i can pull it off....if DH will agree.....if we can get rooms....anywhere......but I am going to try working on this idea tonight. Woot woot

Isn't there a bunch of you getting together next month? I remember Brandi saying something about you all getting together. I know there is big list of October DISers going for F&W.

Awww thank you so much Wendy The BBQ really turned out amazing. We had 58 friends and neighbors attend.

I will answer Ann's question about Laura's sig... NPH = Neil Patrick Harris at Candlelight Processional! We saw Whoopi Goldberg together two years ago. I wish I was going along for this one too!

Thank you Elin, I thought it was some new Disney ship or resort or something along that line. The Candlelight Processional was so wonderful the night we went a few years ago. We saw Brian Dennehy who was really amazing. I don't know how anyone can attend it with dry eyes. It was a surprise my DH booked for us on our 08 trip. What a highlight that night was even though everyone was freezing. It was in the low 30's that night and I didn't care, it was that Fantastic.

And I should explain the significance of Neil Patrick Harris -- my DD18 is absolutely head-over-heels in love with him (and yes, she knows!!! ). She was a theater kid/Thespian in high school and his talent just WOWS her!!

I fully expect she will be in tears for the entire CP!! (those OMG-I-can't-believe-he's-within-feet-of-me tears!! )

NPH is very talented and soooo cute. I can understand her excitement.

Angel16 a lot of time when I go to DW I do a combination of onsite and offsite. Since I am retired and come from CA I usually stay for 3 or 4 weeks. It sounds like you'll be staying in a timeshare. There are some wonderful ones in the Orlando area that I have traded into. You may want to hop over to the Orlando hotel board and ask questions there .... lots of helpful people.

My Oct/Nov trip I'm staying onsite the whole time but in Jan/Feb I'll be moving around a lot with only one week onsite. Staying at Sheraton Vistana, Mystic Dunes (concerned about that one) and Wyndom Bonnet Creek. In the past I've stayed at two Marriott timeshares and Sheraton Vistana Village so if you happen to be staying at any of these I'll answer any questions I can.

No matter where you stay you will have a wonderful time as you are with your family!

Thank you GG (may I call you that)? They have reserved the week at The Holiday Inn Resort West Village. I have not idea where or what that is like. Guess I need to do some research. Anyone here stay there before? I agree with you and Laura. We would be going to Disney and be with people who love us and Disney. On site or off does not matter that much.

(Rachel/Tori) Laura, You do such a great job posting pictures and answering questions for everyone about AKL and concerge. Thank you, it was like a mini vacation to view the pics and dream.

(John'sMom) Kathy, you going to be around the first part of October to visit face to face? If I can work out a trip I want to make sure to see you.

Have a great evening everyone. Tomorrow is back to school and back to work. Summer is almost over, but it sure was fun!

Standard view at Kidani? "Close to lobby & pool" is what I'd request. If Savanna View, "Pembe, close to lobby" would be my request.

Diana, I'm sure it'll be fine where ever you end up!!! But yeah, near the lobby - when we were there I asked to be near the library and the community center. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Kidani, I WISH we were there this time, but Jambo house will do - LOL
We are taking thursday off too to lay around the pool, gotta rest up for MNSSHP that night!!! Maybe I'll see ya there!!!
