I am Christine and am traveling with my DH, and two DD's 9 and 3. This will be our first cruise on the Wonder March 22nd. Maybe we could all get together for coffee! LOL!

So glad you guys are going to be cruising with us. This will be our first Disney Cruise too. I've cruised NCL and Carnival before, but this will be my DH's first cruise ever. We are very excited! Are you guys coming into the area early? My DH and I are driving to Orlando Saturday and going to stay at Disney and drive to Port Canaveral Sunday morning. How is the weather where you are? It's chilly here.

Look forward to hopefully meeting you on the cruise. My family is coming down on Thursday before the cruise and going to Fort Myers. My parents are there. We are then coming over for the cruise and then going back to Fort Myers before flying home. We live in Indiana and it has been frigid here. Today it is 50 so not bad but first day in a while above freezing. Getting tired of calls from my parents about the weather in Fort Myers. We are recent DVC owners and bought into Animal Kingdom Villas. Going to have our first stay their in December. In August 2008 had large family get together at Hilton Head and had a great experience.

I'm glad to see that we already have a handful going this week!! I can't wait to take another Disney Cruise -- they soooo spoiled me last year!!

I will be going with my 4 year-old twin boys and husband... The boys and I went with Grammy last year, but this year we are taking Daddy. I can't wait for him to see everything! He's cruised before, but nothing like this!!

Does anyone here plan on participating in the fish extenders or have they before? This is our first cruise but it sounds like fun. Just wondering if anyone here planning on doing this for this cruise.

I know we'll have something on the door, but I'm not sure about the extenders... It's just our little family, and we'll be in 'steerage', no doubt, lol...so I'm not sure how much traffic there will be by our room..

What stuff would go in there?

Hi everyone! My family will be on this cruise along with several of our friends. This will be our 4th DCL cruise and we can't wait.

We are flying in the same day. DCL made the ressies for us. I am hope we make the ship on time! I don't find out flight info until Feb 22nd!

I am going to try to make a fish extender myself. I am going to Jo-Ann fabrics tomorrow. We are in 6618 so stop by and see how bad it looks lol!

The Fish Extender's look interesting. I think I'll try my hand at it too...not sure how it will go (I like to do crafty things...love scrapbooking....but I'm not all that creative). I'm not sure of our cabin # yet, I'll have to get with my DH and find out.

I'm in if anyone else wants to do it!

I think I might have to get mine from eBay -- I found a couple from one woman....so that will be fun...

I'm just worried that my cabin will be hard to find/get to -- I'm just a 'guaranteed outside stateroom' - and I might not know until we actually get on the ship. I'd be so sad if I put up an extender -- and delivered all of my gifts/treats and nobody ever found our cabin, lol...


I can't believe it's just a little over a month away!! Is anyone else coming along??

I was going to make my own but ended up buying mine off of ebay. Also there was a previous post about there being a $10 off coupon at Oriental Trading Company. They have cheap trinkets. The code is ava910.

i got my material now, and am going to attempt to start making mine this weekend!! really excited...smatterchu, just put your cabin # on this board as soon as you get it and we can keep checking the boards right up until time (do you think Disney could give your cabin # sooner if you called them?...it seems they would have to know what cabin they are putting everyone in if all the trips are booked and paid)...i think it will be a blast!

i thought the ones from e-bay seemed expensive (lol) until i started getting stuff to make my own and then found out with time and money, it probably wasn't that bad a deal, but i've got my stuff now, so i'm gonna try my hand at it.

i've still got to get our cabin # from my dh...it's on our reservation #, but i keep forgetting to ask him.

Hi fellow cruisers! 31 days, but who's counting!

We have a party of six coming along: DH, DD, Mother (Grandmother), adult nephew and his wife and we are all SO looking forward to this Spring Break!

Just a tidbit of info I found out today when I contacted DSL today about the movies scheduled for our cruise. Very excited to hear that the following will be playing in the BV Theater:

Gram saw the example of a fish extender and is all over making a set for our rooms!

This is awesome. I am glad that there are other DIS'ers going on this cruise. We are cruising with just the two of us and would love to participate in the Fish Extender's if y'all want to do this. We are on Deck 7 but I am not sure of the room number right now as I am at work still. I know the room is aft & we have a navigator's verandah.

We are VERY excited about this cruise. I am anticipating great weather. Our last cruise, we went at the end of January and nearly froze to death - now keep in mind, we live in Florida so the slightest cold is bad for our bones !
