Just wondering if anybody is still interested in this thread, since it is dying a very slow death . Where is everybody ? We all should be extremely excited since our cruise is less than 6 months away and planning on what we are going to do and see. Maybe it is just me being overly excited about this awesome cruise.

It's my first cruise and first FE also . But I found some really cool things, so bought items.. If I need more gifts, I'll get them.. if I have left overs I guess I will have to plan another cruise.
I think we both be find with our first FE.

Humm I wonder if that will work with my DH....it is worth a try

I'm here! I have seen threads that didn't get going till about 3 months out. It will pick up. I'm going to start my FE's in a week or so, now that I have plenty of time on my hands! As of last Thursday, for the first time since the summer of 1981, I am unemployed. It was not a surprise, I have known it was coming since February of last year. In the mean time, I have a few projects to do around the house and a couple at Church to keep me busy. Haven't had time to think about what I want to do yet. Need some time to think about it. A cruise would be good for that.... or maybe a trip to the mountains..... but this is a cruise board!!
Anyway, Thanks for taking care of the FE list Beth! It looks great!

I'm here! I have seen threads that didn't get going till about 3 months out. It will pick up. I'm going to start my FE's in a week or so, now that I have plenty of time on my hands! As of last Thursday, for the first time since the summer of 1981, I am unemployed. It was not a surprise, I have known it was coming since February of last year. In the mean time, I have a few projects to do around the house and a couple at Church to keep me busy. Haven't had time to think about what I want to do yet. Need some time to think about it. A cruise would be good for that.... or maybe a trip to the mountains..... but this is a cruise board!!

Sorry to hear about your job loss, I know the feeling, I was laid-off after our trip to Disney in October of 2010 (the day after I came back from vacation) and have not found a job as of yet. The only good thing that came out of it was that I could spend more time with my granddaughter who I am raising and is more like my DD, and that is why I have so much time to dedicate myself to the disboards.

Thank you for compliments on the FE, if all goes well maybe I will organize one for my next cruise (cannot wait to spring that one on my DH...LOL), if I am so lucky to be afforded to do it again, I really enjoy organizing it...it has been a lot of fun and very interesting.

Am getting excited about the cruise can't wait to board...It was such an awesome feeling when I boarded the Dream last September! Had to pinch myself, since i was living a dream come true! Always wanted to go on a cruise and here i was.....sighhhh! LOL...and now to be going on a second cruise.....really hate to wish my summer away butttttttttt.....lol

My grandson, Tyler is 10 months now and he is walking seems funny to see him walking...what a quick 10 months it has been. Excited to be on the cruise with him and show him all the Disney stuff....

Beth, I imagine your excited to take your 4 yr old too! I know its your first cruise so lots of excitement for you!!

I am here as well! Like Sue, I don't have anything interesting to say, but I am still very excited about the cruise! It does seem far away, even as it gets closer. I guess everyone is involved in spring break and summer plans now. After the summer, all attention will be focused! I have been reading all I can about the Fantasy and it looks amazing! I hope we can keep our group together and meet onboard!

I'm Sandra and my DH is Jerry, we are Allen's Mom and Dad and will be crusing with ya'll. I've been reading all along, but can't seem to find time to post. Now I have time but only one hand to type with since I fell and broke my arm on April Fool day. This one handed typing is for the birds! will have surgery Monday (16 th) for crushed elbow an hop the new cast frees up my left hand.

We look forward to meeting all of you.

I'm here Beth don't always get on due to busy schedule of work and children's activities keeps us on our toes! We have been having lots of planning parties and are all v excited about the up coming cruise Our most recent planning party focused on our ADRs for the non cruise section but we also tweaked our evening plans for cruise sections as well - which night we hope to secure a remy reservation and ruling our a palo reservation cause we want to try and secure palo brunch. Oh there has also been some FE gift ideas passing around us I will keep that a secret though

I'm sorry to hear about your job. Hopefully everything will get better. I'm still excited about the cruise but I have been so busy. Spring is crazy with teaching High School (new evaluation process, prom, EOC's, senior exams, graduation, the list goes on...). Plus the activities of my own kids.

I have been looking at FE's on Ebay and Etsy. I think I'm going to buy one. I would like to make my own but just feel like it wouldn't look good as I do not sew and do not want a duct tape one. I've also been thinking about FE gifts. I have lots of ideas just got to get the money. I was looking at our list. There's really not that many right now. If we don't get many more, I may just make things for everyone.

Things will pick-up shortly. Our youngest is graduating from college in May and it seems like the list is endless in preparation. I think about what I'm going to make for the FE as a diversion, but it's not working. The happy part is my other daughter and son-in-law are going to be joining us. Haven't convinced her to participate on her owe but she said she would help me. Just wanted to let those that are stressing about having room to bring their gifts what I have done in the past. I mailed the box of FE gifts to myself at the ship and it was waiting in my room when I arrived. Got delivery confirmation so I knew when it arrive at the port.
