Sailing the Ocean Blue...October 6, 2012 Eastern Fantasy

Looks like several of us are checking in tomorrow. Do we have to pay for excursions and BBB now or when we arrive?
What excursions are ya'll thinking of?
We're looking at doing the Under 2 flags Island tour at St. Maarten and the St. John Trunk Bay and snorkel at St. John.

You pay for your excursions at the end of the cruise. If you decide to cancel and not get charged for it you up 3 days before the cruise to do so.

Right now I am just thinking about doing the stingray at Castaway Cay, but since I have until the 23rd :sad1: I may change my mind :confused3.

staying up and checking in at 12:00 sharp!:cool1:

Just booked our excursions, dining and spa. I got:
- Remy dinner
- Palo brunch
- Sea 2 Sea tour in St Martin
- Skyride to Paradise Point for me and snorkeling for DH
- Pirates League for myself for Pirate's Night
- Couples Massage on the ship and one on CC too. I was going to book the Couple's Choice but I realized that I could book both Couple's massages for about the same price

Now I just have to wait for 1am my time to do the check in.

Just booked palos brunch, Remy dinner and pirates league for children yey.

We we being very very optimistic on cabana front : ( Can always hope for a cancellation : )

Excursions we are still unsure - not sure about travel times to most with DD2- decisions decisions!
Just check in to go.

Oh I forgot about couples massage too - on board ship.

Just waiting on the check in opening by that time children will have woken no time to go rest after early rise. All worth it though : )

Can you explain what Pirates League is? I have never heard of that activity.

It's like the Bibbidy Bobbidy Boutique but for Pirates! There are only 2 packages that are available for adults one is the Empress package that I booked for myself.

When I did the check-in portion all port arrival times were still available so I picked 11:30 to 12 so we wouldn't have to wait too long to board.

Congrats:dance3::cheer2::cool1:

Everything except cabanas seemed to be available so I bet there will still be availability for everything you want.

I still have to check in the rest of my family on the 23rd

The Cabanas were ALL gone when I checked in. I was going to surprise DW with one @ Serenity Bay. :sad2:

We booked Palo dinner and brunch. I tried to book a 2nd Palo dinner, but the website wanted to cancel the 1st if I did this, so I assume they are only allowing 1 reservation to each of us until we get on the ship. So yes, Beth, there should still be a lot left!
The online check-in was a breeze, especially as Disney already had our passport info! We will be arriving 12-12:30, so it won't be such an early morning for us and we can bring our dogs to boarding that morning rather than the day before. I do hate leaving them! We also booked the St. John's boat ride and island tour--I can't remember the name! We are thinking of booking Bernard's for St. Maarten. Is anyone else using them?

Will there be a Meet & Greet onboard? Or some way of recognizing the DISers when we pass each other on the ship? And are any of you also DVC?

That is good to know, I wasn't concerned about getting a cabana, too rich for my blood. I would rather spend the money I have on either souvenirs or excursions.

I was planning one at the drink station between the muster and deck party, but I do not know if there will be enough time. Still trying to figure that one out:confused3

We could always have little green ribbons to wear... I am not DVC.. and I am a first time cruiser.. so if you look for the gray haired lady walking around lost that will be me....LOL Julie :wave2:

On a couple of cruises we have been on, we got neon green reminder bands with our cruise name on them to wear on the ship. Worked good!

I did a test run order. You must order in multiples of 5. I ordered 5 large and 5 medium (they have a child size) neon green with white fill for the letters. It says "Sailing the Ocean Blue" and my total with shipping would be $34.41US. I gave these as FE's one year, but I mailed them to everyone ahead of time so we would have them in the terminal. I can't do that this trip, but everyone could order their own if they would like to participate. I'm in if everyone wants to do this.
