On a couple of cruises we have been on, we got neon green reminder bands with our cruise name on them to wear on the ship. Worked good!

I did a test run order. You must order in multiples of 5. I ordered 5 large and 5 medium (they have a child size) neon green with white fill for the letters. It says "Sailing the Ocean Blue" and my total with shipping would be $34.41US. I gave these as FE's one year, but I mailed them to everyone ahead of time so we would have them in the terminal. I can't do that this trip, but everyone could order their own if they would like to participate. I'm in if everyone wants to do this.

We are DVC as well! The wristbands sound cute, we only need 2--well probably 1, as I don't think I can get my DH to wear one! I will check it out!
I would love to do a meet and greet, but I don't think the drink station will be practical at that time. It will be mobbed with people heading in all directions, not amenable to any form of meeting or conversation! A quieter location would be better, IMO.

I tried this. We can order 2 for about $15, so you can order fewer than 5--but the price is higher!

Got it figured out...
Here is the message it gives you....
If you are ordering more than 5 bands in different colors and sizes for one phrase, you must order in multiples of 5. Only I was trying to order different sizes of the same color.
I am able to order 2 each large & medium with no issue.

I had a look works out the same for shipping as cost of bands. Some UK sites looking for orders of multiple numbers, I will take a look on UK eBay.

At Oriental Trading- the have something call green self adhesive green wrist tickets. Wear them to help identify your group in a crowd. Includes 10 sheets of perforated paper tickets. (100 tickets per unit) 10"
The cost is $8.50 per 100.

As far as recognizing each other, for our extra-large Panama Canal January 2011 cruise, we did the green rubber bracelets (1 person ordered them and we mailed her $ and picked them up on the ship when we met---they ended up much cheaper when purchased in bulk) and my husband Tom and I printed out nametags to put in the lanyards---using our official thread logo with people's DIS name and real name AND someone, as their FE gift went in with other families to provide really nice lanyards printed with our cruise name and dates----it was really so much fun seeing people walk around and know that we sort-of belonged to a fun group

Does any of this sound interesting to anyone? I'd be willing to head-up any?all? some? of these or if anyone can think of something else?????????
