Sail Away Party "Line Dance"

I'm sure you all know the dance I'm talking about!!

It's a very cute line dance that I heard (and saw) a few times while on board. They played it at the Sail Away party and on Castaway Cay. It was very easy for the kids to learn and they have not stopped talking about it. I have never heard this anywhere but on DCL. Is this a Disney "song". If so, what is it called and is it on a CD somewhere that I could buy??

Are you talking about the Cha Cha Slide? It's by Mr. C.

Not sure if it's on an album. I know dh secured it somewhere to make our "cruise CD's" but I have no idea where. I'm sure an internet search for cha-cha slide mr. c will give you something. Or another DISer will chime in.

The pool we belong to here at home plays it non-stop! The first time I ever heard it was on our cruise in February.

Joanna, I have pictures of you and your girls doing that dance! It's on our waterproof camera which we haven't used all the pictures yet, so it hasn't been developed yet. I had totally forgotten about that until I saw this thread! When I get the camera developed I will send you the pictures!

Thanks Terry! I would really appreciate that. Our camera fell at the turtle farm, so now I want to get whatever is on the film off and that is it for pictures from the cruise. I am loving looking at everyone's pictures.

We found the cd single at FYE over the weekend! That was the first time I had heard it so I just assumed it was a Disney thing! DD loves it. Thanks again!
