Sagamore Hotel Family of five= 78 points per night plus..

The $95 Fee. WOW I called today to ask about The Sagamore Hotel on Lake George. We were thinking of maybe spending a few days there next summer. MS told me that the 2008 points aren't available yet but he could quote me last years rates. The Large Suite which sleeps five is 51 points a night but those points are only for the first two guests. For extra guests the cost is 9 points, so an extra 27 points per night for the kids. Total 78 points per night in July. I'm guessing we will have to stay here sometime off season without the family. LOL It seemed like a good idea at the time.

Hi! I am not a DVC owner (yet), but I do live very near (5 minutes from) Lake George and have stayed at the Sagamore several times.

It is a beautiful resort, but from what I can tell from my very limited experience with DVC points, that is kind-of a ridiculous use of points. Although, 27 and 27 equals 54, not 78 (right? Unless I misread your post, not unlikely!).

I hope you have fun if you do come visit though! Was it any better on points in the off season? It is really beautiful here in the fall.

Duh, silly me, The points per night were 51 plus the 27 for the kids. Sorry about that. (problem fixed) Thanks for pointing it out. We love tLake George and have been there many times. We own a pop-up but thought I would love to stay at this resort. We proably will sometime off season, My youngest is off to college next year so sometime after that. The Balloon Festival is amazing. You are very lucky to live so close.
