We fear it because we will be on major roads and these groups have been known to shut down roads and start setting stuff on fire

Answered by OP. And I do find it just a teensy bit unbelievable that you don't know what she's referring to.Half and half?

I'm in a mixed race marriage too and the term "half and half" just rubs me the wrong way.

Go pick up your husband's police dog, since he strangely does not reside with your husband, and bring him with you. He should be able to alert you to any danger.he is a state trooper

I don't understand why you think your racially diverse family would be in any kind of danger from BLM protestors...What took place in western new York is what scared me. We are a half and half family so I want to make sure we are safe
@Goofy_Disney_Dad we need one of your patented I can't evens right now...
Is there a way to find out when these events are planned for ahead of time
Have you discussed these fears with your husband? I think a discussion with him could go a long way to quell your fears.

Keep alert and take back roads, in the remote chance it happens...That's what these crazies want...they want attention and for people to live in fear.
Keep your radio on, tuned to a news station as you travel. They'll let you know if there's anything happening in the area you're traveling through. Or maybe you'd have less angst if you tuned out the media for awhile.

I really only have enough energy to invest a single one to this.
I can't even...
