Since we're discussing this, I have a question as well. My wife took her mother to Gatlinburg a few days ago and they are planning to stay til sometime next week. Do you all think I should get down there and bring them home immediately? I was worried about bear attacks, but now I'm filled with dread that something worse might happen. They don't call it Dollywood for nothing.

From what I've seen, as long as they don't carry a picnic basket, bears should leave them alone.

I'm gonna send them a map of all the ranger stations just to be sure. I'll make sure they aren't carrying any pic-a-nic baskets as well. Thanks!

You're right. It's not. This also isn't a thread discussing the actual issue. Those are there further down the CB page for people who wish to discuss them seriously. This thread is a little ridiculous to begin with so people CAN'T take it seriously.
