Has anyone been on the ship at Port Canaveral when a Shuttle was launched? The Return to Space Mission of the Space Shuttle is scheduled for launch on May 15th at 3:50pm (tickets go on sale on Monday)...I've never been on a cruise before...so, for those of us on the May 15th Wonder, what should we do about the safety drill? Would you suggest we bring our life jackets with us up to deck 10 to watch the launch and then go to the safety drill? Would we get there in time (I don't want to be the late family)!

Is there any chance Disney would delay the drill until 4:15 or 4:30 because of this event?

Hi, we were there for a launch last February..We did take our live jackets and waited what seemed like forever...We had plenty of time to do the drill, and then and only then, it launched...

I forget the time exactly, but what a sight it was...

Enjoy.. :goodvibes

How do you find out when launches are taking place? Saw one in distance from Orlando but wonder if there will be one when we are away late October this year.
