Yes, there are safes in every POR room. They are small and are located by the twin sinks.

The one we had in Acadian House at POR was pretty small. I mean, it was fine to put our wallets, a camera, my PocketPC and our meal vouchers, but that's about it. Definitely not big enough for a standard laptop. It wasn't very deep or tall. I can't remember it's exact size, but it seemed an odd shaped/sized safe to me.

I would have to say yes. A PDA, but not a laptop.

Thanks for the quick reply! Most are not big enough unless the resort is pretty new so I am not surprised.
