Has anyone been able to purchase an observed antigen test from the safe passage website? All members of our party continue to attempt to order from the website but we get a little loading circle for a second and then nothing happens.

Depends on when your cruise is. Right now you are still tested at port. For the sailings on June 7 and after--you are able to order the telehealth antigen test from the safe passage website when you do your 15 day check-in with them. They send them to you in 2-3 days after you order them. They will include the instructions in them is what I was told when I called their website.

Our trip is the fantasy 11-18 and we uploaded our vaccine info on the site but are unable to get the order button to work. Just wondering if anyone else was successful.

Final note- the order does not work from the phone, I called and they said you need a desktop. It worked just fine from there. All the rooms I. Our party had been using phones or iPads.

Thanks for letting us know. I'll probably use this option in August for our cruise.

Any info yet on the cost and process when purchasing through Safe Passage? I guess we will have to wait a week for the process info.

I just sent Safe Passage an email with all of our questions including cost, order time, the carrier used for shipping, and hours the proctors are available for testing. We're spending several days at WDW before the cruise and need the test boxes to arrive at home before flying to FL We don't want to use the first half of the day to do the test.

Thanks. Same for us. We will be arriving the week before the cruise. Let us know what you find out.

This is what I got from the InspireDiagnostics.com:
The earliest you can order is 15 days prior to your cruise date. The system will not allow you to place an order until your vaccination cards are uploaded and approved. If you decide to have the test sent to your hotel, please check with your hotel first for their policy on accepting packages for guests.
Tests accepted for the Pre-Cruise testing are PCR, NAAT, and Antigen. An at-home antigen, PCR, or NAAT is only permitted for pre-arrival embarkation testing if it is observed by a medical professional (telehealth) and the guest can produce an official lab report.

Your options for Pre-Cruise testing are:

• Schedule an Inspire onsite appointment at a location near the port. This can be done through your Safe Passage account. Cost for this is: US locations - Antigen-$46.58(USD) and PCR-$98.33 (USD) Canada locations – Antigen - $78.25(USD) and PCR $139.10(USD)

• Order the Inspire home At-Home Antigen test kit. Once ordered, an email will be sent with a link to schedule your telehealth appointment 1-2 days prior to your cruise. This test can be done from any location with a laptop, computer, or smartphone that has a camera. You can order this in Safe Passage within 15 days before your cruise. The cost is $46.58. (USD) This is shipped via UPS.

The coordination times (15-days before the cruise to order -plus shipping time???) are too tight for us. I'm going with eMed.

$48 per test and based on your departure they show you allowed times to sign up for the observation part. I received two days after I ordered.

eMed is looking like our choice too. It would just be so much more convenient to take the test when we want from the convenience of our hotel room. Plus, I want to order my tests more than 2 weeks out, since we will be in Orlando a week before the cruise. Thanks for taking the time to get the info.

I have an email into eMed because of conflicting information on their website. There is a NOTICE that one type of test COVID-19 Ag is the correct test for travel and the BinaxNOW is the incorrect test. But when I go to order only the BinaxNOW is available.

We used Qured recently flying back to the US from Vancouver. I emailed Safe Passage and specifically asked if this monitored test would be accepted and they said yes so that is what we will do for our next cruise. It was so easy that I am happy to use them again.

Actually, the eMed Covid-19 Ag test is the Abbott BinaxNOW test, packaged for eMed to use as proctored tests. The cell phone in the picture obscures the BinaxNOW portion of the label above the COVID-19 Ag line of text. The prices include the telehealth observation of the tests.

Does anyone know the hours available to schedule the InspireDiagnostics observation? I know it's two days prior to sailing, I'm wondering is it 6am/9am and until how late? I would love to schedule before getting on the road if early early is an option, otherwise it looks like eMed has more convenience in that regard if I'm reading all these tips correctly.

Good to know. You know more about their product than their customer service. Luis (from eMed email ) said to contact the cruise line for clarification !!!!!!! Thank you.

Quick question on this. So, I work for Amazon and get free teledoc through them. Would I be able to use the tests we have here and then use them to approve since they are a medical professional? I'm so confused on this stuff lol. We'll be at Disney for 4 days prior to our cruise and I feel like that would be easiest for us.

cant wait for this to all sort out before my September cruise. I’m feeling overwhelmed. I normally go 2 days prior to my cruise so now feeling like I need to change my plans And go one day.

We sail in September as well. We cruised with Royal recently and the whole covid testing/requirements were much more clear and easier to process. For Disney, our whole family will just do eMed because it's insanely easy. But we'll also have a baby with us and so we'll have to mail the Inspire test and be nervous for the two days I guess, and then test the baby at the port again. On Royal, the baby didn't even need to be tested.
