So, I called to ask about the Safari and Karibu Dinner and they had no idea what I was talking about....???? hmmm...I will have to dig a bit more!

When I wrote to my planner last week asking about the Safari and Karibu Dinner she said she had never heard of it, but I could do the Grand Gathering Safari/dinner. I wanted something more private than the Grand Gathering for our rehearsal dinner and explained I heard of other people having the Safari and Karibu and the information I knew about it, all she could say was "she was sure Grand Gatherings would try to sit us together". I am going to try and email her again this week. Maybe she was just busy and didn't understand what I wanted.

OK, I did some research and learned that Disney has discontinued this event. However, they are working on a replacement that they hope to announce sometime in the next few months.
