Saddle up girls. We've got Mountains to ride!

Mountains... the fun kind! Space, Big Thunder, Splash, and Mount Everest. What could be more fun? Riding these mountains with the girls! We do have a most precious guy going with us though--DGS2 will be there too. The way he's going, he would want to ride the mountains too if he was big enough.

In 25 days, we will be taking and extended family girls trip-a new adventure for us all! It will be a short trip, but hopefully fun! It will be me, DD20, DGS2, DGD18, DSIL66, DNiece 12, and DNiece 10. So needless to say, DGS2 will be getting lots of holding and fun time from this brood of females he's got escorting him to WDW!

This will be a trip of firsts! For all except me, DD20, and DGS2 everyone else will have first such as MNSSHP, AK, all the mountains, staying at a WDW resort, dining at WDW, etc. DD and I have already done all of that and DGS has done it all except mountains and MNSSHP since this will be his 5th trip.

Since we all get along fairly well most of the time (but we do have a couple of us that do want things our way), this could get reeeeaaaaallly interesting! Not that we are counting here , but since I'm the family travel agent, so far I'm winning on the planning department!

This is my first trip report so I will try to make it interesting without boring you to bits!

For some background, this trip was suppose to have happened in July. DD20, DGS2, DS21, and I were all going to stay at AKL for DGS2's second birthday (we did this anyway and it was a BLAST!!!). DSIL found out and wanted to join us with the DNs. This was all great! They would be with us for two days and since she lives nearby, it would be easy for her. Note: the DNs live in the same town I do, not DSIL. Anyway, we have everything all planned out and everyone is all excited then it all goes to pot from there.

DSIL's BF was having medical issues for about 2 months prior but she kept saying she was going on this trip and he would be better by then. She calls about 5 days before the trip and says she has to cancel because he has to have surgery. The DNs are devistated. To overcome, we promise them that they could go to the MNSSHP with us. (I didn't have this trip planned, but then I had to start looking-like I mind another good excuse to go!!) They were fine with that and said it didn't matter about missing school-this was way more important. LOL

I get a call from DSIL in August saying no, the plan won't work. We have to do it during a weekend so they don't miss school. They want perfect attendance. Luckily for them, the school board planned them a Friday off in October or this wouldn't be happening at all!

As of now, we are 24 days away from this trip and we are praying that nothing goes wrong so we can actually do this trip. DNs are messaging me all the time about how excited they are! It's not like I'm really good at containing myself either though!
