im so upset right now. Delta canceled our flight
tomorrow, so now we dont get to go to wdw.
cant find new flight till tuesday, which is too late, so we
had to cancel. this is the worst day of my life. HELP!

See if you can find flights on *any* legacy carrier, at *any* price---then call delta and ask them to "write you over."

Your chances for this are pretty slim---the airlines have been doing a much better job at flying planes at or close to capacity, so even a small number of cancelled flights cause a lot of disruption. And, there have not been a "small" number of cancellations this week. But, it's worth a try.

Can you drive? I know not today, but if you headed out very early tomorrow you could get there by midnight. I know it's a long way, but you'd still be on vacation.

Just note that I-81 and I-78 in PA are CLOSED, as are a few other roads. I seriously doubt they'd be open by morning. From NE, it's at least a 22 hour drive in GOOD weather, depending on where you are.

So sorry your flight was canceled. I feel your pain.

The same thing has happened to members of my family. Fortunately they are able to get out this Sunday from a different airport and airlines and they will tack the days lost to the end of their trip. Maybe you could do the same. I feel so bad for you all if it was me I would be stir crazy.

We also got our flight on Southwest for tomorrow cancelled and changed to Sunday night. The kids will miss a day of school(Monday the 22nd) but we were able to switch everything around. Keep tryin. I was on hold with Southwest for 3 HOURS!!! I hope it works out for you. I know how we all felt when we got the news our flight was cancelled.

soooooooooooooooooo sorry, i always stress about this, an illness, weather, getting fired, death of a family member...........i always call my mom and ask her how she is feeling every day the last week before we leave...........she has not let me down yet try to find another way............good luck.

It happened to me earlier this week (I was supposed to leave 2/7, the day after "snowmageddon" in DC)...flights kept getting rebooked and canceled (DVC was wonderful about the changing dates)...but ultimately it didn't work...

So, I know how sad you feel...it makes it that much harder to cope with the horrendous weather...

There are approximately 7,000 cancelled flights in the NE right now, you're talking thousands upon tens of thousands people that will need to be rescheduled on flight schedules that are already reduced and planes being closer to capacity.

The problem isn't just flights leaving affected areas, but planes that need to get there.

Considering the severity of the travel issues, I think a Tuesday reschedule is actually impressive.
