Haven't read through all these pages, and I know the original poster doesn't need more suggestions, but just thought I'd add on:
Not in any order but-
I never cry during movies but these did get me
-Steel Magnolias (first movie to ever make me cry)
-Boys on the Side
-The Fisher King
-Where The Heart Is
Ones that will probably make some other people cry,
-Patch Adams
-Finding Neverland
-Edward Scissorhands
-Ladder 49 (ok, so I almost cried since every male family member on my dad's side is a firefighter, but I haven't watched it since the first time cause I know I will)
There's more too, but that's all I can think of right now
For me, The Notebook, and Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants was more tears of happiness cause everything works out in the end..
But the 2 movies that made my cry were: I Am Sam (I bawled like a baby and I haven't watched it since..way to sad) House of Sand and Fog (It's not sad - It's depressing..everyone dies..crying in the movie theatre - there's 2 hours I want back)
