Sad day here in my craft room

yeah but it will still be a dining room.
I want to ditch the furniture but it was DH's grandmas so he wants to keep it. Which would be great in the new house we found but I don't want it in the mean time.

I hope to weed out more too and pitch some stuff. I have way too much stuff!!!

are there other relatives that you could loan it to in the mean time? anyone who just got married who may need it for the short term? That way, you could get it out of your home but still get it back at a later date?:confused3

and you know I think it's illegal to use the words "sad day" and "craft room" in the same sentence.........

all days in craft rooms need to be happy!

:cool1:

sadly no. My older brother has already melded his apartment with his girlfriends and my younger brother lives in Japan. I think we are going to rent a POD to store some stuff while we organize. Maybe I can convince DH it doesn't need to come back in the house once it's out. LOL

That is terrific. Sounds like you tamed that water beast.pirate:

for now anyway, but I still need to replace the bulkhead door in the spring.

I know, I know! But the good news is, DH is helping me finish converting the breakfast nook into a butlers pantry so now I have room to move more stuff out of the dining room and into pantry. We are making progress!!

And I got the wall over the nook painted last night so I'm hoping to do some vinyl letters tomorrow.

If you have things you want to get rid of & know of a local girl scout troop or after school program, they would love the stuff.

but try explaining that to his mother. LOL

She yelled at me for moving things around in the china cabinet to accommodate my Polar bear collection.

Oh, I so understand that. My MIL was here for Christmas & I told her the leg to our table was broken & I couldn't wait to get rid of it. It is horrible, ugly, & old (oh & falling apart). I thought it had been his dad's parents, but no it was hers. She wanted to know what happend to it & said that when we replace it, she wants it. She has given us a few really nice pieces, but fails to realize we have a 3yo boy who is ALL boy & animals that like to chew & scratch. I feel like we are taking care of them for her & feel badly if anything happens to them. But, our brand new bed, no problem when it got a scratch in it b/c it is ours. I really would love to just load up all the stuff & return it to her.
