I would first think about how often/much you will use the stroller after your trip. If the answer is alot, then invest in a better one, either a special needs (like the maclaren major) or even a jogging type stroller (just be sure to get one where the front wheel swivels!)
If the answer is not much then I would just look for an umbrella type stroller at Target or some other department store. Be sure to check the weight limit and even try your child in it in the store if possible. Babies are us have all their strollers on display, I did this w/ dd last year. Maybe go for a mid-value one, as the cheap ones are hard to turn and push with a heavier kid.

I would consider an over-size stroller personally, you could find in the long run you would get more use out of it, even if it is more expensive.
Especially as it is likely to be more comfortable for the child too.

We have found with our son, he is autistic, that a MacLaren over-size stroller has been so useful over the years, especially when touring the theme parks in Florida - Joshua although physically mobile, cannot walk long distances.

My son has severe asthma and it goes wacky in the winter months. We had a combi that we used through 1st grade for him. My parents had a Century oversized umbrella stroller that they used for him. We found the century one to be more bulky, but it pushed alot easier. Seemed the larger wheels handled the extra weight of his body better, and was easier to steer.

Thanks all! I really appreciate everyone's support and good wishes. I was looking for some TLC and some suitable outrage and I certainly received it here! Thanks so much!
Also, I appreciate everyone's suggestions for a stroller! I had surgery on my hand last year and as a result really can't carry Zoe (our 4 y.o.). She's just not yet at a point where she can go and go. And, she's a wanderer. AND, while she's not one of my special needs kids, she does have noticiable "aspie tendencies", and one of them is her hyper focus on how she's feeling. If she's hot, that's her focus, if she's tired or hungry or itchy, gotta fix it. And, it has a domino effect on my special needs kids!
We rented when we went to DL last November, when she was 3 and it worked out great in large part. However, we only got a stroller for one day, as we were only there for one full day and a half day. The cost ends up getting up there a bit when we're looking at 3 full days. And, we ended up taking turns carrying her back to the hotel. It would be nice to have a stroller of some sort for the trip (not expecting to really need it outside of that, we typically use the wagon at home when we need it, we can take it everywhere with us at home), that we can use at the airport for our red eye trips, at Sea World and then to and from DL hotels when we're there for the 3 days instead of two.
