I was just wondering if I'm supposed to only invite the parents and people in the wedding party or everybody who is invited? Since we're having a destination wedding am I supposed to include all the invitees because they have traveled far? Is this a nice gesture but not necessary? And if I only invite the wedding party, am I supposed to include the spouses, girlfriends/boyfriends, children etc?
I have a feeling that some people are going to want to come just because they want to feel involved and will offer to pay their own dinner just so they can be there. Is this ok?I personally, would like to keep the group small so it is more intimate and I can thank people properly rather than in a large group. I'd like to keep it to the parents and the wedding party with the spouses and their children. Is this mean?

I would invite whomever you want to be there....it really is up too you. I invited just te parents and the wedding party with their spouses....for me that was over 20 people but i had a larger wedding party....i think small and intimae is perfect! Plus as someone said you could invite other people for dessert later on if it's going to be a huge issue.....

Thought I would post some of the things that I have for the welcome bags so far. These are actually things for the women, but hey, it's something :)

AHHH i love this stuff!!! I probably shouldn't be looking at it though.....but i enjoy getting a sneak peak!

In case you haven't read my entire pj, or if you did and it wasn't obvious, Belle091507 is my SIL and the mommy of my niece or nephew. She got married a couple of months ago and is helping me out with my wedding madness. :goodvibes

I loved your rehearsal party. It was a great size and more personal. With the wedding party, spouses and kids, we would be 15 and that would be leaving out 3 of Jim's sisters. That's close family, you know.

i vote for the stuart weitzmann shoes, they are so gorgeous!

Thank you. I LOVE them too. I remember from your pj that you love shoes too. I almost passed out when I saw your pink ones with the matching pink purse with the bow. I was like :scared1: I wanted them too :)

Good. Glad you like it considering you're going to be getting half of it. I'm not going to be posting all of it though. I need to surprise you with some things. LOL, I was thinking about that today. You're going to know all my wedding secrets. Just act surprised when you see half the stuff ;)

Hiya, we're not having a rehearsal dinner but a welcome dinner the night before. I've done an information leaflet for people and I've put that we would like to meet at the House of Blues which has a menu to suit all tastes and wallets. That way they will know that we are not paying!

yeah....it's pretty hard to do that.....but it's not just 3 sisters is it? it's 3 sisters plus their husbands and kids and that adds up.....what does jim think?

People have no idea what to expect from my wedding. It's kind of funny. My other sil was over the other night and was trying to convince Df and I to have at wedding at home so we can have a hall with a dj. As if it's not an even an option at disney  I explain that that would still be possible (if Df and I want that) but she still seemed weirded out by the whole prospect. I think I might be running into some haters.

There are non disney people out there but just remember it is your and DF wedding not theirs..... smile too!

oh for sure. they actually don't know it's a disney weddings yet. Only my family knows. It's going to be a surprise. They are going to freak out. My sil has wanted to take a trip back to disney for awhile. I think people are kind of getting impatient with us and don't know what's going on. I'm sure it will all turn out well :)

I'm divided between orchids, roses or peonys:

opened peonys

174604peony.jpg

closed peonys

hand tied roses

Either all white or blush and ivory/cream like Avril's

I don't like the actual flowers in this arrangement but I love the feathers at the bottom
