Someone had mentioned that they have children's games at this pool. We were in the sandy pool area in May and there were not any activities going in except for having to get out of the pool for an accident. When are these games held?

The most I've seen is volleyball down toward the slide. Other than that, I haven't seen any games.

They had a watermelon race (pass a whole watermelon to each other in the water) Volleyball with a big beach ball, kick ball but you knock over sand pails across the pool, tug of war across the sand bar, and there was a scheduled but cancelled (due to illness) 1 hour treasure hunt. Due to the cancellation, they gave all the kids that had signed up earlier a free ice cream cookie sandwich.
I didnt expect daily activities, but they had some pretty good ones.

Wonder if we were there the same time - the pool was closed for a short time during our May visit as well - it was around May 21-24 timeframe

We were there May 15 to May 22. The accident happened more to the beginning of our stay. My DIL said that she uses diapers specifically for swimming to avoid this type of thing. Gross!!!

OK, now I remember - we were there May 15/16 as well - yep, I thought SAB looked very quiet and then I realised a whole section of the pool was empty - now I know why
