SAB. Gamble?

Was booked at BC for 6/18-6/26 with free dining. Then rebooked at AKL with free dining when it looked like unlikely SAB would be open in time? Now it looks like 50/50 or better for end of June. I have been given the option of rebooking last three days of our trip at BC (So split stay) and keeping free dining for both segments. I know its still a gamble that SAB will be open by 6/24 but our last two park days are Epcot and DHS so i'm thinking we'll go for it. Not too bothered by the newly announced BC entrance way construction. Just interested in pool and Skyliner. Our family doesn't usually love the hassle of split stays, but this may be well worth it. Not entirely sure if this could erase any of my ADRs or mess with my LLs (still to be made). What say you all?

It won’t mess up your ADRs. So far Disney hasn’t messed with LL’s for people just changing their reservations around.

Is it a gamble? Of course. The official timeline is through 6/30. But as long as you are willing to accept SAB being closed you don’t really have anything to lose.

There is no impact to your ADRs or LL if you adjust your AKL to be shorter so that you might include a couple of days at BC. However it is not a 50/50 Chance of SAB opening before July 1st. I would vote is it only slight chance the SAB makes it early.

You also risk losing Free Dining. You really want to think hard on this. Are you sure that you can get Free dining?

If the pool is critical to you I’d take Disney’s “through June 2025” language literally. If you’re ok with the risk and it won’t ultimately make or break your stay, then why not. But I would personally keep expectations very low to none.

If you really want a pool those last few days, I wouldn't do it. Even with your EP and DHS park days, I don't know if it's worth the hassle of packing up and going to BC.

I thought with free dining you had to purchase park tickets? I’m not sure that would work with a split stay. I’d definitely double check that.
