?'s re SWA and National at MCO

My non-stop flight into MCO on Saturday, 11/15, is scheduled to arrive at 3:05 pm. Is SWA usually on time? I read on another thread that once SWA releases their schedules that they don't make changes, i.e., cancel flights or change times drastically, is that right?

Right now I'm planning to do a National/Emerald Reserve reservation and I've read elsewhere that National has a :59 minute grace period. What time should I reserve the car for? Would 3:30 work or should I should say 4:00? What happens if I arrive after the grace period expires?

I haven't rented a car in a while.

I have never heard about a 59 minute grace period. SWA has a great on time record. If your flight is delayed due to weather many other flights will be delayed as well. I would reserve the car for 3:30PM. I rent weekly for work and have been delayed many many hours and have never been denied my rental car.
 
The 59 minute grace period is when you go to return the car not when you pick it up. Others have posted that they will hold your reservation till midnight.
