Due to the fact we're going during the height of summer next year, I was hoping to forgo the need for a princess meal, but DD is already planning on what she is going to talk to them about, so I need to rethink my strategy. I know that CRT is beyond difficult to secure an ADR for, but I'm going to try. I was wondering how hard the breakfast in Norway is to get an ADR for? Also, are there any other princess dining options?

Second, now that Garden Grill stopped doing lunch, I assume ADRs are difficult there, too? I absolutely love GG and considered it my secret Mickey spot the year we had APs but when we went by in May it was packed solid and now I'm worried Farmer Mickey and I won't get to hang out.

CRT doesn't seem as difficult as it used to be , since the Princesses are there for all meals. The Akershus breakfast is not extremely difficult, but not easy either..Difference between the 2 meals other than location and princesses is that CRT is 2TS per person on the dining plan and Akershush is only 1 TS credit pp.Garden Grill is ALOT harder now that it only has dinner. It is a 1TS character meal with Americanized, benign food in Epcot so that makes it a hot ticket.I had no issues getting CRT but had a very hard time getting Garden Grill

I'm glad CRT isn't as bad as it used to be -- the only time we managed to get in was random luck and it was at such an odd time! I'm eagerly awaiting the 180 day point so I can get everything nailed down, but I'm glad to have Akerhus as a secondary choice... I figure I should probably be able to get ONE of the two. :-)

I'm so bummed that GG cut out lunch! We used to love going around 2pm - lighter crowd, more face time with the characters, and then able to just have a light snack before fireworks. *sighs* Any reason why they stopped lunch? It seems like a waste of resources since the restaurant is there and it appears there is demand.

did breakfast at Akershus last December. can't compare it to CRT, but for the 1TS credit the food was good and the princess experience was great. we got lucky cause cinderella was there that morning too. I booked Akershus 3 months in advance with no problem for 10 ppl. we ate at one of their last breakfast bookings for the morning.
