While I'm a veteran WDW visitor, and always book reservations myself using codes, the cruiseline is a whole new ballgame for me. I've looked at the posts in this cruiseline section, and have a few questions I hope someone can help me with.
Does DU keep looking for discounts on the cruise like they do for the resorts? Would it be cheaper for me to book it myself through DC? If I book now for next year and discounts come up for that time of year, can I get the discounted rates if I book through DC or myself? Any and all input would be appreciated! I know I'm asking the best of the best here! Thanks in advance!

Our experience with Dreams is that they keep looking for fare reductions. We have received several emails from Dreams saying that that a future has been reduced.

The rate you get from Dreams is the same you get from DCL. With the added bonus that Dreams offers a rebate (up to $200 depending on the price of your cruise).

And if you book in one of the promotion periods you get an additional stateroom credit.

for our last cruise, WDW stays, and now our cruise booked for Sept. 2003. I received a significant discount on both my cruise and WDW stay after I booked last year from them. I like the idea that they keep looking for deals, so I don't always have to do the research on my own. DU is so knowledgeable about WDW and DCL, that even though I had been MANY times to WDW, my TA was VERY helpful with my itinerary for both WDW and my cruise that it was the best trip EVER! I can't say enough about them!
