In an email from Laura (one of the CP Reps) she said that because I was not from that school that I would probably be interviewing that day. And to be ready for it. Is this a good sign or just normal. Either way I am going to be ready!!! My close friends and family are watching me :bounce: off the walls waiting for the 25th! :rotfl:

But I keep telling myself to be prepared for a rejection too. (Gotta stay level headed or I'll get myself in trouble. LOL)

Oh, I so hope you get it!!! It is sooo much fun!!! :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

We'll be sending pixie dust your way! ::yes::

Just normal. At my presentation, they had us line up based on the distance driven to the school, then took the people who had to drive further home interviews that day.

It's completely normal for them to interview you that night. It saves you from having to drive back the next day -- that's not a bad thing at all, right? Just make sure you dress appropriately (interview attire!) and bring your application printout (maybe a resume and cover letter, too. If you want to write a cover letter, let me know and I'll tell you which recruiter to address it to.)

I sent out your referral card today!

Thank You everyone! It is good to know what to kind of expect going in. As you can probably tell, I really want this to happen.

Kate I will be putting together a new resume tonight. I should include such things as volunteering like I did the "State Street Thanksgiving Day Parade" last year, those kind of things are not on past resume's. So I need to update it. I will be putting together a cover letter, not sure exactly how to word it yet though. So I will be doing that another day, unless I get a really good thought tonight.

Thanks again everyone for the heads up on all the different things.

Hi there I was on the Program in 2001 and I'm from NW Indiana, anywho I didn't bring a resume and apparently it's not all that dire! Still if you feel like it, it can't hurt. Just wanted to send out a BIG thank you to everyone. I haven't posted anything on here lately, for a few reasons. One, I have been busy, also because I am trying not to think about it too much don't want to go

Thanks again.
I will keep everyone posted.

:Pinkbounc 9 days till Presentation!! :Pinkbounc

Finished my resume, and doing my cover letter.

Hey Josh, where in NW Indiana did you live? Just curious.

Thanks for all the Pixie Dust and Good Luck!

You'll do great! Tell them you have thousands of DISer's pulling for you, and many WDWCP alums that can give you a glowing recommendation! :sunny:

3 Days left! Well that includes today and it's almost over so how about 2 Days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yea! I am soooooo excited.

Any last minute tips? What should I wear, I know business casual but any suggestions? I have 2 tattoos, does that matter, they can both be covered, one on my ankle and one on my shoulder blade, but I was just wondering I read someone else had a question like that.

Thanks everyone for everything! I will keep you all posted.

They will ask if you have any tattoos that can not be covered. My DD is in the CP now. She has 2 tattoos, but they can be covered so that is okay. I believe she interviewed with a small group of students. She said she knew a more about Disney than other students there. I don't know what she wore, probably slacks and a blouse and a nice pair of shoes-same she would wear for her retail sales job. I'm pretty sure she did not wear a dress or skirt. Good luck! My DD interviewed the same day as the 1st meeting. She did not take a resume with her.

Great news, mickeysdsnyprncs. :Pinkbounc I missed some of these updates, super!! Good luck, best wishes, sure hope to see you when I go to WDW next, or maybe at a Chicago DIS meet before then. We are looking to have one at the end of April. Again, good luck. ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo

Good luck, ::MickeyMo princess: !

Definitely wear pants instead of a skirt, just to make sure the tattoo doesn't show. Sure, you will tell them about it, but I'm sure they would like you to demonstrate that you are capable of hiding it. :)

Thanks for all the suggestions on the dress for that day.

Good to see 'round here again Dan. :) Chicago Dis Meet in April sounds great I'll keep my eye out for posts.

Hi Jen! Thanks for your ideas. I am thinking black pants and a nice blouse. Thanks for stopping by here too.

:jumping1: :jumping1: :jumping1:

Since you're going to a different school to interview, I would definitely wear interview attire to the presentation. Black pants and a nice blouse sound perfect.

You're going to do great!

Woo-Hoo! Today's the day.

Kate~ I never did get your referral card. I thought I'd wait till the mail today so I just checked it but nothing. Oh well. Sorry I couldn't help you and it didn't come in time for me. But I am determined anyway. So here we go. It's at 3pm CST. :)

Thanks everyone. Will post later on how I felt the day want. & will keep you posted on if I get it. I sure hope so. :)
